NBA should re-release the schedule. Lakers, Heat, Celtics, Bulls, OKC, Mavs and Knicks now play each other 11 times. No one else matters.

lmaoo

I guess math doesn't matter either. That's 77 games asshola.

Nope, it's 66. Teams aren't going to play themselves.

haha I was just thinking about it and the math is right.

Whatver he's still asshola.

Just curious, and I'm not being hostile, but what would be your alternative? Having a legit defensive C, allowing A'mare to move to PF, while keeping TD, Fields, Shumpert, that's a good thing in my opinion. We will have an extremely versatile, tall lineup. PG is obviously a question mark, but I think we can find a decent pick up. Billups was at the end of the line anyway.

Did we get Chandler or is it still "in the works"?

(whoever)/TD
Hill/Shump
Melo/Landry
Amar'e/Purp
Chandler/Jorts etc

That puts us ahead of Atlanta and Boston for sure.

It puts us in the top 3/4 but we're not in the running until we get a competent point guard.

I hear Steve Nash might be available next year!

Never in a million years I thought the Knicks frontcourt could destroy the Lakers in a game but Amare/Chandler vs. ? Bynum is suspended.

Can't be official yet, but Hahn did say:

Multiple sources tell Newsday that Tyson Chandler will be a Knick. Billups and Turiaf involved to clear cap space. #Knicks #fb

Which seems pretty definite.

One thing I can count on, like the sun rising, out of this Knicks board is... no matter what the Knicks do, half the fan base will hate it, everyone is convinced they know exactly how to build a title winner and it's not the way the Knicks are doing it.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

It's Baron Davis or bust.

It's almost comical to hear Stern talking about competitive balance as Lakers get CP3 and Chandler heads here

I wish we didn't have to get rid of Turiaf to make it work. He'd be a good backup 4/5. With Turiaf gone, we're left with Jeffries/Harrellson/Jordan as our backups.

On a side note, if we're no longer trying to save cap space for next year, I assume we'll bring Jordan over, especially with Turiaf gone.

But that's next year...we should be in win-now mode with the way our roster is constructed. I agree 100% that Steve Nash would be perfect here (for however many years he has left) but we should try to trade for him now. THEN try to get a mid-first for next year and draft Kabongo.

LOL ESPN trying to find ways to get around the fact LA has zero depth with Bynum still.

Hopefully we do bring him over. I'm anxious/excited to see Jordan play.

Have strong indications that Baron Davis would come to NYK at a discount if he clears the amnesty waivers. But are #Knicks interested?
