Rockets having an amazing season. Glad to see Pringles back in the NBA coaching a good team again.
Edit: Damn I forgot he shaved the mustache off. Well, he's still Pringles to me

IIRC Batum's advanced numbers typically don't show him to be the defender he gets the rep for being.

Ok Harden stays under the basket because he cant guard anyone and grab rebounds, also 6 or more assists are from 3 point line every game, great player but many fake 3d..

Moving on D like second season Bogut when he overbulked and couldn't jump. How much weight did he put on over the offseason? In any case he's just beautiful as a triple threat in the pick and roll.

I'm going to sleep tonight dreaming of a no PG Bulls lineup improving them to the point of that 6th seed with us at 3rd. Mids was like a +4 dude last season, if we get +3 from him just after all star we are going to run teams. Bench won't fall apart anymore. We'll defend the three ball better, go Brogdon/Mids/Jabari/Snell/Giannis small ball at times. Take out Snell for Mirza and go for 120+ per 100 on offense.

Meanwhile in NY Knicks forum, they already started the Game thread :
viewtopic.php?f=24&t=1505653They don't appear to be very confident :
Giannis gonna hit 8 threes.
Giannis and Jabari are gonna put on a show at MSG
Jabari is gonna embarrass Melo.. My god.
I remember when Melo used to talk trash to a rookie Giannis.. Both players have come a long way.. Now Giannis will be the one bullying Melo. oh how the tables have turned
I kinda wanna go to this game. Love the Greek Freak, that guy is going to annihilate us.

I didn't realize the Knicks were in such a free fall. With Porzingod out, would be disappointing not to be 19-16 after these two games.

Has Porzingis been ruled out for both games , or is he probable ?

The injury is nothing serious, he can be back for next game, so I guess probable.

the Dallas defense has allowed only 95.4 points per 100 possessions, a rate which would make them the best defense in the league, with Bogut on the floor. With Bogut off the floor, they've allowed 111.3, a number that would rank last in defensive efficiency.
Bogey has taken his bizzaro "not looking to touch the ball, just setting screens like crazy" game to whole new levels offensively, but the dude still can run a defensive scheme.

As much as I would like a unicorn matchup, I will fully support 2 easy wins in January to get some separation. Really need to stay in the 4/5 slot. I really really REALLY want a round two matchup with the Cavs.
And it sounds dumb, but at the rate Giannis has been developing and the 2nd round playoffs being 4 months away Giannis could be even better.

Disclaimer: this is the first time I have watched the Jazz.
I know I am in the .1% minority, but from what I have seen from the Celtics/Jazz, Gobert is the most overrated player on this board.
There is no way Gobert is even close to being better than Giannis.

Trying to make an argument on one game is weird.
He's not Giannis, but Gobert is an insane player.

Euro stepped around Horford for a left handed dunk. I was like oh..Giannis is the only other guy I've seen do that.

I don't think he euro stepped, could be wrong though. Horford was halfway in the paint when Gobert caught the ball on three point line then looked like Horford just let him walk right by for the dunk.

Gobert is a damn good player and arguably the best defensive 5 in the game, but he's not exactly a superstar prospect you can build around like an Embiid, Davis, or KAT. He's just too limited on offense.
I think people rate him pretty accurately, knowing that.
