Does Keldon Johnson for Brook become more appealing with the first from the Derozan three way if it came with keldon?

Trying to wrap my head around the framework.

MKE: Keldon, 1st via SAS
SAC: DeRozan (S&T)
SAS: Lopez, Barnes, Duarte, 2nd via SAC
CHI: CASH, 2nds via SAC

I just don't get why the Spurs would do it. For us, it depends on how we put the pick to use. Could we entice Chicago to take Keldon and two 1sts for Coby White? San Antonio owns CHI's '25 protected 1st.

The Spurs are the last team in the league that needs Lopez.

I could see them wanting to have him as a Wemby mentor, but I highly doubt them giving up real value.

Forget including us in this bulls trade . View it after the trade. Sounds like that trade is done.

Lopez for Johnson and the pick? Good enough? I’d rather have Collins and Sochan for Brook and maybe Barnes makes them more willing to do that in San Antonio…??..

If none of our young players can crack the rotation then its a pretty big organizational failure, need at least one of these guys to hit.

At this point I am happy to keep Brook but as back up or a quick to the bench starter. He can still serve a purpose especially if they keep him away from the Logo 3s.

I just hope they don't do something silly like trade for Smart or Brown.

I'm cool with them bringing Brook back if we can't find a deal that makes sense, but I cannot take another Bobby season man. Please just find a Bobby trade.

The problem is you need Bobby because he’s the only guy outside of Giannis that can rebound the basketball and score in bunches without help. Bobby is our only bench scorer who can get his own buckets. I waiver on Bobby all year, but he’s basically the entire bench right now.

I get the notion, but really, how beneficial are Bobby's ball-stopping isos in tandem with being an absolute defensive sieve and being liable to get tossed on any given night? The rebounding is needed, ideally just sign BBall Paul for that.

I was stunned when we signed Bobby and let PJ walk after PJ dogged us to a ring. Idk if there wtf decided that but I also see that PJ wasn't quite the same after that but yeah if we can correct that mistake now... do it

Malik Monk is publicly voicing his desire to start.

Huerter is assumed to be the odd man out but I’m holding out hope we figure out a way to pull Keon Ellis.

Kings still need a big man too.

Monk: Of course I want to start, but I'll come in here free-minded and do whatever the team needs me to do. But if I feel like I need to start I might voice it because now I have a voice a little bit and I can say something that'll stand. But I'm still coming in free-minded and coming here to win games. ...They know that.

You hope they don't trade a guy in his probably last playing year who gets played off the floor in the playoffs for a guy who won DPOY and consistently elevates his game in the playoffs?

Maybe so, but they're not smart, and numerous writers have stated they're interested. They're terrible for a reason.

I'd rather not bail the Spurs out of the terrible contract they took on. At least Brook is an ending contract.

Bassey is interesting, but won't be back until January, and I doubt year 1 after ACL surgery will be his break out year. Get him in 2025-26.

There's better Brook deals out there. I wouldn't panic until there an Ingram trade and we're not a 3rd team in it.

Smart for his playoff career shoots 39% from the floor and 33% from 3. I'll take Delon Wright over him every day of the week.

This is where I'm at. I just don't see the fit. Our best options are NOP and HOU.
