Roddy on Parker
Kidd on RJeff
Brewer on Manu to start Matrix to close.

For it to keep Cardinal on the bench Brewer has to play 22 minutes. In practice it won't accomplish that.

Yeah I've been shocked at how rookie-ish Brewer has been

Hell Roddy seems like more of a veteran out there.
Hoping it's just him trying to adjust to being on a new team in a new role.

Just because you have the choice to vote for a player for the first time doesn`t include that you have to vote for him. The POG should go to Dirk just not only because of his superiour stat line but because he was our leader and best player.

Your opinion does not make it fact. (neither does my opinion).

Also, the POG does not have to be the best player...they are not one in the same (see Barea, Stevenson, Peja and Mahinmi winning the POG 7 times....especially Mahinmi's where he barely played any minutes and won).

Roddy played well, but DIRK is definitely POG. He had a huge double-double and was a beast on the offensive glass tonight and made 12 big points in the 4th quarter and knocked down all of his FT.

If you get 34 and 13 and aren't the POG I don't know what else to say.

I dont get what coach RC was trying to achieve or prove by starting Brewer at the 3 spot, then benching him after 5 mins of play. I get that he wanted to go small because of the Warriors starting backcourt, but Brewer wasnt the reason for the woeful start by the Mavs today.

I watched the game from the start, and there was only 1 shot made against the defense of Brewer. He also just took 1 shot, and I feel he was setup to fail. Theres no way he should have been thrown in as a starter with just 38 mins of playing time under his belt in a Mavs uniform, over a span of 5 games and 2 DNPs.

Dont get me wrong, I thought Roddy was great and Marion too, but Brewer wasnt the reason the Mavs were down 19-7 when he was subbed out with 6:35 to go. At that point, Dirk was 1-6, Kidd was 0-2 with a TO, Roddy was 0-1 with a TO, Chandler was 1-2. Also, the player Brewer was matched against - Dorell Wright - was scoreless. The Mavs as a unit were horrible allowing the Warriors to shoot jumpers.

I hope he gets more opportunities this week, and is utilised correctly. Today would have been a confidence killer being benched for 43 mins after starting.

By "best player", i just wanted to say that he was the best maverick in THAT game.

Just like Barea, Mahinmi etc in past ones....

Pretty much. RC needed to match the quickness of their backcourt.

stud you're always up all hours of the night. I bet were 2 of the few who love the late night AL West games in the summer.

Who doesn't find it funny that Rick Pitino lost to Moorehead State?! All week I'll be here!
