Watching my 1st Wolves game this year.

Ricky Rubio is really, really good and compared to him, John Wall is not.

Wolves need to get rid of Beasley quick. I'm saying, they can make the playoffs this year without Beasley. How you like those Kevin Love step back 3s. Rubio's playmaking ability is stupendous right now. He's playing ahead of his time that kid and will only get better. Beasley injury is a blessing. Time for Derrick Williams to show and prove he can ball.

Some unusual seeding and team stats going on in the East and West right now.

Cleveland 7th with a +3.9 differential. 9th in offense, 12th in defense

Utah sitting 6th. Surely that won't last long. They're a scrappy team like us, but eventually lack of real talent will catch up to them.

Phoenix - 6th in defense :o

Toronto - 11th in defense :o Seems the Mavs may be missing more than Pussyfoot. Casey has instilled a whole new defensive culture over there.

Pacers - 3rd in defense

Miami - 24th :-?

Now I'm watching the Kings for the 1st time this season. I obviously already knew he was but MAN does he look white out there!!

In those Kings home uni's he looks like his skin has never seen the sun.

I wasn't that impressed with Williams today. I felt like all he really did was wait on the outside, wait for Rubio to get him the ball and then shoot 3's.

He's better than that IMO.

Derrick Williams' game reminds me a lot of Sean Elliot right now. I like that he lets the game come to him instead of forcing it like most rookies, more Bball IQ than I gave him credit for. Yeah, they should just send Beasley packing, I agree.

The Wolves are quickly becoming my favorite team to watch. The Wizards, damn they suck.

I still like Wall, but he's in a potentially career-destroying situation. His teammates are the perfect storm of bad defense, ball-hogging and immaturity.

Anyway, I would love to see Minnesota package Beasley and another asset or two to fill out the rest of their roster (C and/or SG) and to give Williams some more minutes.

I think Beasley and Wes Johnson should be sent to the wizards for McGee and Young.

Actually I don't, but that's the kind of thing that they should do.

Tell me about it. They got my man John Wall looking looking like a bust over there even though it's not really his fault. It's pretty unfair for such a selfless but freakishly athletic player like himself to be in a situation like that. You described his teammates to a T.

As far as Minnesota & Michael Beasley, I was able to work out a trade for them that would balance out their roster, but they'd have to be willing to take what might visibly look like a step backwards, but it'll make them a better team. My proposal was for them to exchange Beasley, Wesley Johnson, & Luke Ridnour with Detroit for Ben Gordon, Austin Daye, and the 2014 1st round pick (top-10 protected). Let's face it, if the T'Wolves don't start winning 'now', Kevin Love will be gone by 2013 when he become a mega-draw in the free agent. Gordon is percievably on the decline, but he's a playoff experienced veteran that will net them a SG that can handle the facile task of scoring at least 10 points a contest (even though I'm sure he'd average between 15-20 PPG). The subtraction of Ridnour will hand the starting PG reigns to Ricky Rubio like they rightfully should, and the addition of Daye will continue David Kahn's man crush for lengthy tweeners that don't have a defined position, not to mention he's been more productive than their former lottery pick, Johnson, without consistent minutes.

Bullets look like they're going to get their first 'W'. Jan Vesely with 4 steals in 10 minutes so far!

So the Craptors are "that" team?

Not as bad as when we were "that" team Vs the Nets, but shameful none the less.

That GSW - Miami game was awesome.

I just picked lil Nate off waivers too for my fantasy team, dropped Budinger(BOOOO) - started off slow - was 0-6 , but finished with 24 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Perfect from the FT line.

My sleeper pick - Parsons, looks much better than Budinger tbh. He has everything Budinger has, but better handles, longer, better rebounder and more active.

Good pick up. Nate Robinson isn't one you want guarding a 6'4" pg or anything but he'll get his stats.

Yeah, in the real world of basketball he's seen as a bonehead, immature chucker. But this is fantasy and he can put up some nice numbers and for some reason i think he'll play well in GS. Not a contender, so the expectations won't be there like it was for him in Boston.

Evan Turner has been player really well for the 76ers so far this year, he nearly go a Tripple double vs the Kings.....

Has anyone been watching the 76ers? I read Holly's bit about them yesterday when they were at the top of his system's power rankings, but I've only seen limited action. Worth trying to catch? Any particularly good games?

Along the same lines of the last question, any great games so far this season that I can catch up on LP Broadband's archive with? I've heard SAS/MIL last night was really good.

Walt, you might wanna try marking the Philly - Heat game on your calendar, 21st January.

Philly's number 1 defense, 3rd best offense vs Miami's 2nd best defense, 7th best offense.

It's amazing what Collins is doing for that team. Old skool "team ball". They got 7 players averaging in double digits in points. And i heard their defense is something to behold, you heard team defense on a string, this is what Philly's D is...on a string.

philly's roster kind of reminds me of our team 2years ago. A bunch of 6'8" tweeners playing hard nosed defense. plus way better offense

First 76ers game I've tried to see and Hawes is hurt. The Walt Cronkie fandom kiss of death remains.
