True. Sounds like Durant will be back in time for the playoffs so I don't really see this affecting anything.

This seems like a total PR play for me. He'll be out till the Playoffs at least. The 'evaluated in x weeks' spiel is just a way of saying 'He'll be out longer, but don't panic'.

I think in the worst case he will be ready for the second round of the playoffs, but I hope you are right ( I won't be an hypocrite and say ''I don't desire any player to get injured'' : I really hope he's done for the season )

I don't want any player to get injured. However, he got injured already so I hope he misses the playoffs and they win with him sitting on the bench in street clothes to get his free ring.

The Thunder should retire Jackson's jersey. What a nice guy. He saved this franchise from himself.

- Jazz barely won against Boogie-less Sacramento (they also seem to be slumping)
- Miami continues to roll over east side after an embarrassing loss to Orlando (D-Wait hit 40% 3-pt and.. 20% 2-pts)
- Pels won against LA Lamers and it seems the sickness of Asik was not Gentrynitis but rather Gastrogentrytis. He caught some bacteria during his Mexico visit! I wonder if it was tacos..

This Sixers-Lakers game is an incredible tank fest. Even better when you know what's at stake and see Holmes launching pull up 3s and Randle playing like the coaches told him to chase a triple double.

On another note it's funny seeing people put Brooks as a borderline top 5 coach now because of what's happening with Washington, when 2 years ago they would've been in the WCF if Wall doesn't get hurt. Pretty similar 3 years to what Houston has gone through tbh.

I watch way more Philly games than any non Sixers fan should, and at this point I honestly think Holmes is by far better than Okafor.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's pretty much Holmes' defense >>>>> Okafor's and Okafor's offense is only > Holmes'?

I would hope it'd be possible to get Holmes on the cheap, but if they were smart he'd be their backup 5 of the future after Okafor gets traded. Don't think I'd trust Colangelo to do that, however.

To be honest I'm not sure if Okafor is even that great on offense. Holmes seems like a guy who'd more or less be a fantastic energy big, Okafor just has no energy. I can't see Philly giving up Holmes anymore given how they moved Noel, but Okafor's all but useless on defense and Holmes is a good shot blocker who works his butt off. Offensively he's mostly dunks (which tbh I'm a sucker for) but he's not a high usage guy who's a black hole.

I'm not even sure cam is going to be in the league next year. This injury may have actually cost him his career.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Hubie Brown was in shambles yesterday calling that game.

He is not our player but I wanted to post a NYT article about the art of taking charges and Ersan. The most striking for me was coach Bud's "“I don’t think it’s really part of the N.B.A. culture." comment. It shows the general coach mindset and it helped me understand the reason Ersan's skills are so downplayed generally in NBA. However, this year NBA is counting all taken charges as a separate stat and it seems Derrick Rose is leading the Knicks with 3.

Damn. Randy Foye and his foot injury might have ended his career before it even began.

Honestly idk if he ever "had" an NBA career in him.

Aside from the rookie of the year award of course.
