Would you guys trade Mitch and 3 first round picks unprotected for towns?

Where's a mod when you need a ban?

I would, but I don't think that gets it done.

Until Mitch can prove he can stay healthy he’s expendable imo!!!!!

Of course, that would be the heist of the century

Instead of trading Mitch, put him in Town’s belly
Voila!

enough with this silly thread, kat is softer than baby poop.
he's been in the league too long now and still can't post anybody up, besides the last thing the knicks need is another player that needs shots to contribute.
if kat isn't scoring, he's useless out there.

Seems you’ve been dodging them for years. Remarkable run you’ve had. Once again it’s a question if you have nothing to add to a conversation then do you’re self a favor and save yourself from looking like a azz and don’t say nothing.
Legit every time I post you have not say something that throws the topic off. I’ll say it once again get off my nutz and go find a life. Thank you

i would hope the knicks have learned their lesson about trading all of their FRPs.
but only reason to do that trade is if you can then move KAT for a young, budding star, like lamelo

It would have been the same as Noel
If Randle would have played like All-Star Randle we win the series, not so much Mitch.
Plus Atlanta, with all their shooters were killing us from deep. Not sure what impact Mitch would have had there.
Capella mainly killed us. 98lbs Noel and 36 year old Taj couldn't contain him.
it was capella that killed the knicks in that series; i still don't know why it wasn't randle guarding him, as he at least has the size to contain capella compared to noel/taj.
i do think mitch would've helped a bit against capella. capella scored a lot on lobs, which mitch would've helped. but capella also crushed the knicks on offensive rebounds, to which mitch doesn't help. mitch isn't a great rebounder, and he doesn't know how to box out.

I don't know if Towns would be a nice fit. We would lose rin protection and Town's strength is pretty similar to Randle"s (shooting, rebounding, and playmaking).
However, if the deal be:
Towns for Fournier + Knox + Bacon/Vildoza + Mitch + 3FRPs, we have to get him.
Our rotation would be:
Kemba/Rose/Deuce
Burks/IQ
RJ/Grimes
Randle/Obi
Towns/Noel
It's an almost sure playoff team for the next few seasons. We would have 2 all-stars (Randle and Towns), 1 potential future all-star (RJ), 2 high-production former all-stars (Kemba/Rose), 4 rookies with upside (IQ, Obi, Grimes, and Deuce). As the value of FRPs is proportional to the team's projection in the standings. Our picks will not hold much value.
It would not be a 2011 repetition. Randle and Towns are more dynamic than Melo and pretty much more durable than Stat. Moreover, we would have a much more talented and healthier roster than the 2011 team.
Baron Davis/Bibby/Douglas/Lin
Fields/Shumpert (R)/Henry Walker
Melo/Novak/JR Smith
Stat/Jared Jeffries Balkman
Chandler/Josh Harrelson
If it did not work out, we would still have the assets to get more help.

Usually, we try to avoid getting our best player tired and accumulating fouls from bumping into heavier opponents players.
