Seriously though Scottish played great. And Fred got the tank the win. Brilliant day.

I honestly feel like keeping Fred will help the tank rather than trading him. Trade Gary because when he’s on he can legit carry the offense.

We're about to play a lot of games on the road, if we suck, we will force the tank
Scottie tends to suck on the road too

Tank is back! The upcoming road trip may force FO's hand if they haven't decided already.
We may not end up trading Fred though, his value is at an all time low. As long as he doesn't go on a hot shooting streak later he can command the tank.

It's like someone willed the tank on from beyond the grave.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
update:
16 games until trade deadline including last night vs Charlotte. I guessed our record. I will update after each game.
(17-23)
Jan 10 - Charlotte - W (18-23)
Jan 12 - Charlotte - W (19-23)
Jan 14 - Atlanta - W .... Loss (19-24)
Jan 16 - @ NY - L
Jan 17 - @ Milwaukee - L
Jan 19 - @ Minnesota - L
Jan 21 - Boston - L
Jan 22 - NY - W
Jan 25 - @ Sacramento - L
Jan 27 - @ G.S. - L
Jan 28 - @ Portland - L
Jan 30 - @ Phoenix - L
Feb 1 - @ Utah - W
Feb 3 - @ Houston - W
Feb 5 - @ Memphis - L
Feb 8 - San Antonio - W
Feb 9 = Trade Deadline.
7-9 record as per above (24-32). But lets say we get 2 extra wins and go 9-7 instead, we would be (26-30).
To put things in perspective on Feb 9 of last year (deadline was Feb 10), our record was 30-23.

IMO Fred should only be dealt if you can get an ok pick this year, or multiple 1sts, or some young player we like. Basically, an offer you can't pass up. Otherwise, why not take advantage of his services while we still have him under contract? I don't think he's opting into the player option.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
honestly thought they'd show a bit more fight and take this one. Hard to take them seriously after continually dropping games like this to tired teams.
the frustrating thing though is that they're liable to turn it on and also win a bunch of games you'd expect them to lose too.
by and large though their record is indicative of what they are and I don't know how Masai watches this and thinks it's a status quo worth continuing on going forward.

I've been hesitant to join team tank but this L was the final straw.

Not only we're losing, he really adds nothing to the entertainment value. He's just boring to watch. I'd say trade him still plus I don't think were good enough to win some games anyways but it'll be more fun seeing Barnes running the show with some young players out there!

My man Fred doing his job tonight and Pascal adding a rare helping hand. 4 in a row would not have been good. I feel cheap and dirty cheering for losses.

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
First time here this season I think. There is no way we can add the players we need and the depth we need for a deep playoff run.
I'm not sure we can lose enough to call it a tank season unless we trade Pascal and Gary.
On the other hand, we keep Fred and let him play in the clutch and it probably doesn't matter if we keep the full roster.
But I'm officially on Team "Let's Be Sellars at the Deadline"

Re: Tank World Order (10.0) The Empire Strikes Back
Gets real juicy now. Possiblity of 5 game losing streak
Atlanta - L (Easiest one)
NYK
MIL
MIN
BOS
Imagine that leading to the trade deadline. Even if we go 1-4 we will be 20-28 ...
NYK are favorites to land OG if he's moved. I would love to see a NYK godfather picks offer. Or you move Trent/Fred and try to retool with OG/Barnes/Siakam core in new year

Joining TwO for the first time officially.
It's not just the draft prospects, it's that I hate watching this team. They're pathetic in every way and I want most of them gone.

isn't tomorrow the day where all the people who signed contracts in the offseason can be traded?
