Melo versus Julius: good debate

Julius versus Ewing: pure silliness

Even if you could argue what they do offensively and things like Julius being a better passer, Ewing was the anchor of a great defense.

Patrolling the paint, blocking shots, altering as many as he blocked. Julius even if he tries does nothing close to that. And that's if he tries.

There's nothing that hurts my eyes more than watching him do that lazy jog to get back. Especially in a playoff setting.

Meanwhile Ewing won the MSP award every year from his consistent, all out effort.

Let's list all the historical Knicks centers better than Mitch. Ready, begin.

Ewing
Reed
Lucas
Cartwright
Chris Dudley

I'm sure there are more

Yeah you know what, you're right. Didn't give that sufficient thought.

Julius offers more versatility (better rebounder and passer), but Melo was dominant.

Melo could also carry a team in the postseason, Ju still has a chit ton to prove in that dept

Chris Childs vs Charlie Ward: Who was the better PG from that platoon?
Xavier McDaniel vs Sheed: 1 year Knick you would have liked here the most for his whole career?
Qyntel Woods vs Lee Nailon: Best athletic high flying fringe rotational SF?
Kurt Thomas vs Bobby Portis: Who had crazier eyes?
Chris Duhon vs Langston Galloway: Best PG that should never be your starter?
Sky Walker vs Obi: Best above the rim forward drafted too high for his own good?
Charles Smith vs Andrea Bargnani: Who was softer?
Jason Kidd vs Pablo Prigioni: Best recent ancient PG?
Louis Orr vs Johnny Newman: Who weighed less?
