So bored of this team. It’s the same chit every year. We had our window and blew it, time to rebuild properly and just play the kids and see who is worth keeping and who should be moved. Reclaim assets.

The Heat held the Celtics 15 points below their season average and still got blown out.

Wade let it out of the bag in UDs podcast that it was a divided locker room or something
I really doubt Wade would waste his statue reveal speech to talk about the current heat team issues. Not saying there isn’t a issue but I doubt Wade would have that on his mind
Go watch it lmao

In a game that featured Bam Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Payton Pritchard was the best player on the court

I’m the first guy in line on the trade bam team. That said, there’s plenty of blame to go around not just him. He’ll probably get clued in on the criticism and have a stretch where he looks good again. Rinse and repeat
The crux of this team is not having a superstar and trying to tie together a patchwork team to make up for it offensively. This build was always destined for failure and its finally happening

Blame Bam all you want but put him on a team with a real roster construction and he’s back to being a force. My blame goes on the front office and coaching staff for this debacle. This is one of the most poorly thought out roster and lineups i have seem in a long while. At one point Spo had all 6’6 and 6’5 guys on the floor. Just insane stuff

Payton makes me sick. I still remember the games he had vs us in the playoffs.
We still own Jayson and Jaylen.

You can't pay max to a role player off course a role player will look better on a elite team that's the problem actual max players carry scrubs rather than being carried (hence why they are paid so much). Has Bam won a single match up other than Sarr or maybe Duran (could call it a draw tbh) this year?
Putting up prime Taj Gibson numbers on way worse efficiency is pretty bad imo for a max player.

Not to speak for MWP, but I'm guessing that's part of what the comment was for. Roster construction takes into consideration that we paid flawed players like Bam & Herro like they were max guys. Not a recipe for success.
I still think this is salvageable if we can parlay Herro's strong play into a B-level star who is relatively young and could potentially make the leap to the next level. Not sold that it is Ingram, but someone of that ilk. I'm sure the ones with potential will be very hard to trade for, but there is a path to success however remote it looks now.

Blow it up and trade Jimmy and Bam (once his value recovers when his play picks up a bit) for whatever assets you can get. This build is donezo.

Rosters basically same as last year, he’s probably in a slump. A bad one though, should be near physically impossible for him to shoot 43% this far into the season

The Heat only prayer at this point is for the Kings to keep sucking after stupidly signing DDR and Fox refusing to resign long term and maybe trading Herro and all the youth for him.

Re: Game 19: Heat at Boston Dec 2nd @ 830 PM EST
Bam is such a frustrating player to watch. I've been screaming at my TV for ages now wanting him to use his quickness on offense and drive to the basket. But that pathetic back to the basket game and his patented turnaround fadeaway brick is what we see time and again
That one time he drove and dunked on their huge lug of a center tonight is what he should have been doing all night long. Him being undersized on offense, there is no way he is going to be a reliable back to the basket player at this level.
How I wish this he learns to have a 3 or dunk mentality!

Getting outplayed by Luke Kornet by all people in the 1st qtr is a disgrace.

His handle is to stiff(it looks good but he goes no where) and he lacks natural driving/scoring ability despite having god tier athletic ability he's not a guy who can get to a spot and its why I have been saying since last year he would be a garbage PF because he would lose his main advantage which is quickness/players just leaving him open because he's not going to beat you on offense. Big wings/guy like Aaron Gordon would just rest on defense if matched up with him.

Bams been part for the course this year. Not surprise he was a non factor again. Super disappointed in Herros performance in this and certain big games where he can't focus and find his shot. 7 more tough games to go
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

Fox is putting up worse numbers than Herro, is older, never was able to carry a team to a single playoff series victory.
I rather keep a younger Herro than trade for another older guard who isn't a real superstar.
