Mc hale and a barely improved team vs. pop and a much improved Spurs team, let alone the Warriors. I'd pass on "booking" that.

Lol at barely improved. They didn't have DMO or Beverly in the playoffs, and now they've added Lawson and Sam Dekker. Book it

Yeah as much as folks hate Harden and Howard...and Morey...the Rockets team is going to be extremely difficult to beat after this trade. They gave up no one projected to be in their rotation for next season for, at the time, the best remaining available player in the NBA.

LOL didn't Lawson send shots at Harden on Twitter a bit ago?

That can be done right? That was the first thing that came to mind when I saw Woj's tweet. I'd take Priggy Smalls back in a heartbeat.

Pablo is more useful to a contending team. We don't need him

If the Nuggets waive him, yep, he can come back. The issue would have been if the Rockets waived him. And even then there's a tie limit to prevent that (don't recall how long).

Yeah, don't see the need. Papanikolau would be more interesting since the Knicks need some SF depth and Papa does seem to play like a NY type player (tough, with his emotions on his sleeve). It also would be coming full circle in a different way since the Knicks drafted Papanikolau originally.

Either Pappy or Nick Johnson intrigue me - I take Pappy over Early and N-Johnson over Ledo (I think).

Is he getting waived too?

Still hoping we sign Copeland, although the last update on him had three teams that weren't NY. Not to mention we're fine with non-traditional PFs (Porzingis, DWill, Lance, Melo, possibly N'Dour/Wear)- really the only one of those that'll bruise down low is Melo (we saw KP willing to do it in summer league, but he's probably not ready to consistently do that in the NBA yet).... so signing another stretch 4 isn't a priority.

I just think he could be a huge scorer for us off the bench. Honestly I'm not the guy to complain about the DWill signing because I like him, but I would've rather signed Copeland for the minimum or room exception and used $5 mil on someone like KJ McDaniels.

I'd love Papaknick back but I definitely think he's a piece Denver will keep.

People say they hate Harden but I bet you'd trade Melo for Harden yesterday if the opportunity presented itself.

Copeland is an overrated bum that played decent on a stacked playoff team. There's a reason he isn't signed.

I don't really see the fit with Lawson on Houston. Both him and Harden need the ball.

I guess they wouldn't mind Harden committing less than 13 turnovers by sharing the ball a little bit more.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

they are much better players than Rondo and Ellis. But it is still a clumsy fit. Both aren't catch and shoot guys. So while it will take a load off of Harden. Harden is pretty useless off the ball. He does almost all of his damage with the ball in his hands. And Lawson doesn't play off of the ball either.

the rockets are secretly run by Isiah Thomas

they just go after whatever names they can and hope star power propels them

they won't get past the spurs, Clips or GS

Harden has the ability to completely take over a game but team-wise they are lacking what these massively deep teams have
