Im just waiting for draft night to see what Weltman has been cooking. There is no way we go into next year with 3+ rookies on the team. At least one of our FRP will be traded for some offense. My guess is it will be the 16th pick. Lets see who values the most.

Jase Richardson, to me, has a Kyle Lowry physique with Donovan Mitchell wingspan (not as good as Don’s). I get flashes of both watching his highlights. Uses that wingspan to keep the ball away from his defender pretty well. Pure looking touch on his shot. His dad played here so he may have some kind of inside track with the team off that.

I’m really hoping we trade both picks in some form. Whether together or attached with other assets. We can’t just get younger always. It’s time to surround Wagner and Banchero with capable and ready NBA players

The closest comp physically is Collin sexton

Similar height

Similar wingspan (yours is 6'6", his is slightly longer at 6'7¼")

Similar weight

Could be an upgrade over Cole, 6th man candidate

So if you trade Cole + Jett + Den Pick + Few SRP for Simons

Suggs,AB,Jase
Simons,KCP,Jase

Nice 5 guards rotation, people wouldnt be able to complain about our lack of 3pt shooting anymore
Suggs, Tyus, Jase
Bane, AB, Jett
Franz, TDS,
P5, JI, Panda
Wcj, Goga, Moe

I tend to favor players that have a high feel for game, jase feel is very high.... He'll make a play where you'd swear he couldn't see..... Or a big block out of nowhere

I agree, and we need to keep in mind that we are looking for a High end role player, not a future star, there are players that have higher ceiling (like carter bryant) but they wouldnt get enough PT here to reach their potential

This is my line of thinking - who might be able to contribute as a role player, what’s the role, and how soon will they be ready to contribute.

- WCJr is a bench spark plug scorer and 3pt bomber and he looks ready to help next season. Will he get the chance though? Or will they prefer to give that role to a proven veteran?

- Jase looks like a steady hand for his age but I can’t pretend to know his game well enough to project. What role would he be trusted with next season? 3+D? 3rd string?

- Carter Bryant looks like the complete package, tbh. Just a well rounded player, though not exceptional individually compared to others? High floor, probably not a high ceiling guy. Maybe a range from Josh Green to Richard Jefferson type guy maybe? Would he earn a backup wing spot next season?

- Coward has great length and a nice shooting touch. Older, so he *should* be closer to contributing. I think anyone who shows they can defend gets a chance with Mosley.

I liked Raynaud but like him even more after listening this

https://youtu.be/-syOguLHJsY?si=aFyTfZmkxnEcna_4

From 21.27

Maxime shot 49% on open catch and shoot 3s

And he is not 3pt shy, he shots 5.5 3s per game, he is a legit 7 footer, can rebound, he could be a very nice floor spacer next to Paolo and Franz

Mitchell was 6'1 without shoes, crazy wingspan I think though. Mitchell is a more explosive athlete, but Jase did have a 39 inch vert and 70% shooting at the rim I believe.

I mean Jase's height is a real concern, that is the only reason we are talking about a chance of him slipping to us though.

Wow, I guess no top 20 promise. Could be dominant next year and probably making like 3 million in NIL money, but not sure he will get drafted early enough next year to offset not starting his NBA earnings clock. Hope it turns out well for him.

Draft loses another one, but honestly the late 1st, early 2nd depth of this draft has been growing on me regardless. I was feeling down on it a few weeks ago. Feel like a lot of the international guys closed out their seasons super strong and pushed a bunch of guys down a slot. Plus some promising combine guys.

I'm not hearing or seeing anything that makes me think he's not a lottery pick...rumblings that SAS may want to pair him with his National Team teammate, Wemby...makes sense.

I really hope we can get him.

For me one of Jase, Coward, Fleming, Nique would be lovely and then use the other 1st in a package
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

Dream Draft Scenario...
Jase falls into our laps at #16, Raynaud falls into our laps at #25
(trade a future frp with salaries for Simons - gives POR time to decide what to do or use it in a trade...NOT the 26 frp-I'd trade it, but too valuable for Simons, imo, not necessary to get him)

They draft ok overall but Magic have to make up for the failed 2023 draft.

Too soon to tell. I mean AB has shown more promise than what Suggs has shown their respective 2 years... and it was the 3rd year that Suggs showed us he belongs

people have no patience anymore, they want prospects to be the best version of themselves in their first few seasons....as if they don't remember how long JJ redick took.....how long AG took......how long Cole is taking right now....can't give up on these guys too early, dipo comes to mind.....that being said if a deal is there that significantly helps the team then we can look at that

And then come back and go... I wish I had Aaron Nesmith on our team a few years later... because "he finally got". lol. Funny enough... Nesmith first two seasons looked worse than Howard's. Ball movement really messed with a lot of players shooting confidence in my opinion this season. I have no problem seeing who bounces back this season... of those that are still remaining. KCPs end of season was strong... nearly getting him back to league average by the end of the season after a disastrous start to the season.

for me.... I'm ok moving cole and harris as expiring contracts with future picks. Jett if that makes the deal actually work. But in a all honesty.... he is the type of player i would like to see on the court. Needs to really reign it on defense to make it on the floor along with getting his groove back beyond the arc. I really did like his playmaking potential.... because when the players expected the pass... he set them up well.... then there were the ones that hit people on the side of the head and you can only imagine..."that would have been a bucket... if they were ready" lol

Black... inconsistency is his thing. But once the high level play becomes more of the norm.... The guy is one of the biggest impacts on the court.... and hopefully... he moves into the KCP spot in 2 years once this happens.
