Price check on Cam Thomas or Bones Hyland for the Cavs?

What's the current feeling of Bradley Beal in Washington? Is a pre-deadline trade on the table? If so, is it likely?

Both were just first round picks for teams that like them. I would imagine they’re very much in the “not gonna be traded barring a stupid overpay”, as most first round picks in this immediate previous draft are.

Lonzo and Randle escaped New Orleans and found much better situations. I’m just hoping some team swoops in and saves Ingram from the cess pool that is the Pelicans. Makes Griffin an offer of picks he can’t refuse and he can spend the next decade making bad draft selections and decisions like he’s good at. Would really love to see Ingram on that Cavs team, especially if they can dump Sexton in the process.

FYI in case it ever comes up this year:
?s=21
Oddly, Jrue is definitely vaccinated. And I think Aaron is, too.

One source said the Kings are still shopping a package including Buddy Hield and Marvin Bagley III in hopes of getting a good player in return.

From the Sac Bee, but this had me laughing. I know, just poor wording……or is it?

For Bagley it isn't.
I wonder who they're targeting with that though. Combined it's about 34mil, which is...a lot.

Good for him. Great to see some of these players not give in to pressure, and take a stand for what they feel is right.

To be clear I’m saying this as a poster and not as a mod in any way. But this is silly and there’s nothing good about it. It’s bad for Justin and his team; and it’s bad for his community and society as a whole.

Thats an interesting way to look at the science community as a whole and a poor view to hold as a contributing member of society--that is if you do care about your community.

If the majority of people are vaccinated and there is a breakthrough variant, would it not stand to reason that the majority of cases would be in the vaccinated portion of the population? The facts prove you are far less likely to be hospitalized, experience lasting damage or die from COVID-19 if you are vaccinated.

So you're takeaway from this is that getting the vaccine makes you more likely to get COVID?

Each person has there own opinion so I am not trying to sway anyone. But I think it is important to read the source of the article (instead of a Twitter headline) and then make your case:
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/most-reported-us-omicron-cases-have-hit-fully-vaccinated-cdc-2021-12-10/
And let's get back to basketball

I'll preface this by saying I am for a vaccine mandate and have gotten all 3. But I think he's saying the unvaccinated are putting only themselves at risk. With the variants, a vaccinated person can just as likely get it from a fellow vaccinated person as an unvaccnated one.

At risk of dragging this further off topic, I'm not sure those are good stats to compare.
Here's our daily report from Denmark and we are in the middle of an Omicron surge, even with ~ 76% fully vaccinated population.
Number of new infections per 100,000
Unvaccinated: 211
Received one dose: 151.2
Fully vaccinated: 110.3
Number of hospitalizations per 100,000
Unvaccinated: 32
Received one dose: 9.4
Fully vaccinated: 6.6
Link you can translate
So even with the new variant, you are twice as likely to be infected if you're unvaccinated and 5 times more likely to be hospitalized. Get the **** vaccine.

Can we not turn this into a COVID debate please?
I get enough uninformed opinions spewed at me in general life without having to stomach that crap on a basketball forum.

Yeah, listen y’all. I only shared that Justin Holiday was unvaccinated in that Indy is rumored to be active at the trade deadline, and this would majorly influence any possible markets or value Justin would have. That’s all.

It is a really good point as I am sure it takes him out of being traded to certain teams or even crossing the border.
