Agree this is a problem. I'm ok with having only one guy that small - Maxey. All the other small guys like Melton need to go, and I'm not interested in bringing in any more munchkins like FVV.

Maxey overated I'm on the sell high train. Get Embiid number 1 option to play with finally. Oh and don't let the NBA assist leader go. That's a stupid thing to do....

Celtics are munchkin-free as well.

They play a massive backcourt consisting of 6'5" 230 pound Malcolm Brodgon, 6'3" 220 pound Marcus Smart, and 6'4" 195 pound Derrick White.

I said it in another thread, but Suns fans just dodged a huge bullet.

Might be petty but I really wanted to see Doc and KD clash.

The Rivers bullet, but I feel like they might have watered the seeds to an eventual Devin Booker trade demand. It was widely reported that he wanted Kevin Young. Vogel seems like a slap in his face. And if Durant preferred Vogel and they listened to him over Booker, that's going to be a big problem lol.

I think they should have gone with Young regardless, but the Vogel hire was clearly designed to address their dreadful defense.

I think it was a smart move to choose a veteran in a win now situation with big personalities. Also, when a new owner wants to change things, why go with a hold over?

Plenty of time to smith things over with Booker. Especially if they win a ring.

Did Cam Thomas get measured or did he duck the combine?

Didn’t participate in combine. 6’1.5 in 2019. I’ll give him an inch, 1.5 inch since then. I’d be shocked if he was over 6’4.

So much for that, 76iology. He's too small. Maybe you'd get a Reggie Jackson type performance out of him in the postseason, at best.

I'm still an Aaron Wiggins fan boy. Played very well when given actual minutes:

30-39 minutes (6 gms): 14.5 ppg (60% FG, 50% 3FG, 90% FT), 5 rpg, 3 apg
20-29 minutes (27 gms): 10ppg (54% FG, 39% 3FG, 79% FT) 4 rpg, 1.4 apg

As they continue to use draft picks and solidify their rotation, I feel like Wiggins is going to continue to get 0-19 minute games and have mediocre stats until he goes elsewhere.

I'd be in favor of pursuing him if he was a free agent. A conversation with Presti is a big fat waste of time, though. He's just an unreasonable man.

I feel pretty good about Springer to the point where I see Melton as somewhat redundant. Thunder are looking to compete now and want some playoff pieces.

I'd do Wiggins, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, and a second rounder for Melton. Give us a couple chances at the SF/PF position hitting, save some money, get another young prospect to develop on the Blue Coats. I get the apprehension some on here have, but Melton is what he is at this point and we need to hit on some younger guys (particularly at forward positions) in order to keep this ship moving.
