Show us what Lowe or Simmons or Perez say on the situation, not what casuals with the 76ers logo in their Twitter header think.
They don't post about it because they know it's a conspiracy and no point in giving it credence.

Actually Stan Van Gundy mentioned on tonight's broadcast Embiid definitely benefits from missing games here and there. Gave a lot of kudos to Jokic for "showing up each and every game, it's a hard thing to do".

Stan Van Gundy is a known Embiid hater... Also he's a total moron who doesn't have a vote.

Congrats though you found one person.

Embiid is a totally different player in Regular Season than in Playoffs, people just need to learn to separate these two players.

Someone in here started saying SGA had a bad game shooting 45%, then Kobe got brought up and then the number 1 Embiid fanboy decided it was time for him to wheel out his same posts again for the 5000th time

Name the center that gets the ball thrown to him in the back court with 3 seconds left on the clock and the coach says go get us a bucket like he MJ and he pulls up from 30… and that’s the play?

Never mind - I’ll do it -

I mean Jokic had a stat line that Embiid usually has through 3 quarters and struggled to put way an under .500 team.

Giannis barely beat the pitiful Spurs.

Neither game should have been close.

BUT when Embiid dominates bad teams so badly that he sits the entire 4th quarter, it's "let me know when he plays somebody."

Am I doing this thing right?

This, as much as I don't like Embiid, he is 1b at worst, Jokic and Giannis are easily at 2a and 2b atm.

So who's 1a in that scenario?

I mean, for all this huffing about it not being fair on his counting stats because he's never in the fourth quarter, Embiid actually averages more mpg than Jokic. He logs a lot of minutes through the first 3 quarters. More than anyone. He's only been under 30 minutes twice for the whole season (both at 29 minutes).

Embiid averages the 4th most mpg in first halves this season (18.3mpg), and the most mpg out of anyone in the 3rd quarter (at 11.8 mpg). He gets all of his work done through the first 3 quarters, where he averages just over 30 mpg, which is the most of any player in the league this season.

only to you a player playing more games and bringing more wins does not provide more value.
Last year the team was winning at a higher rate, 11w-5l without their mvp, but hey, at the end they were a top seed team!!! This year missed games 76ers were losing, so mvp!!! ways to spin man

Nothing reiterates this is a regular season only award like this thread being full of Philly fans again.

After Luka's ridiculous performances in December he continues to slide down the MVP ladder and was beaten out by SGA for player of the month in the west. The league is taking his greatness for granted. It's like he's the toy the NBA and fans don't want to play with anymore, SGA is the shiny new thing. Even though Luka's younger (!!). We've seen Luka be ridiculously good for years now, we know he's a generational talent, so let's shut up about him already, right? But how about Shai!?

Luka IS the Mavs offense. And the Mavs simply >do not< win without him. You can't say that for all the guys ahead of him! He plays with a bad coach, and his next best players are Kyrie Irving, who's out half the season, and a rookie in Dereck Lively, who's also out a lot. The Mavs should not have a winning record. But they do, because they have the MVP!!! Hello!??

Luka finished the month with a whimper, 4th quarter collapse against Cavs 2nd unit and embarrassing performance against the Jazz on Jan 1st, it was enough to sway the vote IMO, especially given he missed 3 games in December.
Had he not lost the Cavs game, I think he would've won it.

SGA is the more efficient scorer and better defender this season.

I don't think Kawhi is getting enough recognition for MVP.
I have him 4th, behind SGA, Embiid and Jokic.
