Tweets? Sure. You ain't wrong about that. Have you seen his old talk show? The Man was horrid. But I will stand up regarding personnel. Magic was blasted for acquiring Rondo. But it the end, The Acquisition of Rondo was a smart move, and shows you his genius with court schematics. Because Magic seen the need for another game manager on court, and it proved to be the correct move in our championship. Bron needed another beside himself running the offense and give him a breather. Bron and Rondo were buttin heads for a spell, if many recall. Meaning, magic didn't care about Brons feelings, he was willing to put the team 1st above Brons objections. Unlike Pelinka. Who is willing to cave to Brons feelings regarding personnel.

But players love Magic... Star players especially... As does the media to a large extent... It's a definite catch-22... But I think I feel better with Magic advising us then off helping some other team... Like West...
Just as long as we're not letting him run it all... Although our drafting in his tenure was solid... And I think a lot of people would have agreed with firing Luke a little sooner... So IDK...
I thought our team the first season under Rob was great... It's been worse each year after... And some of the decisions just seem like they didn't have any thought behind them...
So... IDK...
The Lakers leaked like a sieve under Magic though... That had to stop... But was it Magic leaking it, or disgruntled Rob...

I swear If Lakers end up getting Shroeder through Buyout, I'm not watching any games until he is gone off the team - if they sign him

I’m with you. He’s my least favorite Laker since T-Air Brown. Poor fit in Vogel’s system. I’m happy repressing the memories of him ever being a Laker. I’ll be pissed if they sign him.

Dragic may not play defense until the playoffs but I’d much rather sign him.

The main reason I don't want him, Is because he is all about the $$$ think he's worth more then what he actually is - I'm sure he has probably changed and learnt his lesson, but no way in hell, I'm watching that clown on the Lakers again - He all about himself not a team player and we don't need that once the 3 stars players we currently have leave/retire etc

Edit: probably a reason why Celtics let him go?

We need team players

Also while I'm here

I really hope Lakers aren't looking at keeping AD long-term and trying to rebuild around him when Bron Retires... He is not the players you want to rebuild around and can't wait for next rebuild - gonna be fun, exciting, nerve racking all in one

I canNOT believe how much of a quick turnaround this dude had:

from receiving an offer of a long term, MULTI-YEAR - 21MILLION/YR contract
to
getting a min from Boston and eventually being traded away and looked to be bought out soon

in less than 10 months
Kobe Bryant forever
GO LAKERS
8-)
I've heard it through the grapevine..NBA gods have already designated Los Angeles LAKERS as NBA Champions in near future. The destiny is real. TRUST ME.

Nets fan here…… I don’t take it as a good sign that LBJ would come out and say what he said yesterday and personally I don’t think it’s a pro move at all. Nonetheless, how would you guys feel about a Kyrie plus two first rounders for LBJ in the off-season taking into consideration what LeBron said yesterday? You wouldn’t have to worry about any mandates and Kyrie is 7 years younger and is still a solid baller. Just a thought, I come in peace.

Kyrie is one headache after another, so I’d much rather just let Lebron leave and have the cap space or deal with whoever drafts Bronny to acquire his draft rights.

Even if we trade for pics do we even get them? Didn't think we got any until 2027 - even if we trade for more?

Not true, you would get one in 2027 but you also get this years and can defer this years into 2023 if the Lakers wanted to…. if the trade happened of course. I can’t argue about the Kyrie part but Lakers have always been known for getting star players, hence I suggested Kyrie to LA and is younger and still has plenty of years left in him. The only downside is no team would want to face LeBron/KD on one squad.

I’m with Slava on this.

Please reassess the thoughts you have of selling us the flat earth conspiituality genius that is Kyrie. No thank you, don’t want your $40M plus/year headcase. He and Kanye and Djokovic should start a make believe club.

Oh, speaking of unproductive $40M plus players; how about if the Nets get Westbrook’s expiring, Lakers get a new PG via a third team which gets Kyrie. If no, it couldn’t possibly be due to his lack of productivity?

How funny would it be if Lakers can trade for a pick for 2024 and drafts Bronny

The ONLY reason to draft Bronny is to sign LeBron... Bronny isn't really NBA material.

Bron would complain so hard about it not even funny - then Lakers trade Bronny for something more to a team who would want both - that would be ideal lol
