Well, it's not like the Knicks had any way of getting Morant. He wasn't available by the time they picked RJ. It's something like saying 'I like Kevin Knox but he's no Luka Doncic'.

Well no I’m saying this because there’s a fair number of posters here who think RJ will be better than Morant. No one thinks Knox will be better than Luka

morant is the 1st option on his team. you know how much harder that is ? make rj the 1st option and we're not sniffing the playoffs. and i don't even really like ja like that.

Right now RJ should be the 3rd option and quite often he is, and rightly so.

He'll be better, just need to be patient.

His ceiling is Anthony Peeler. Hard to believe he was a top five pick.

What am I missing? RJ is already averaging 18 ppg with an elite 3PT shooting percentage on a playoff team. Peeler's best season was 14 ppg on a team with a 14-68 record.

it's not even a slight at rj that ja is just better. at least we got the 3rd best player in the draft. imagine if we traded down for culver like some people wanted.

Yeah, the Knicks got the best player available. Not their fault the other teams in front of them nailed their picks as well.

Too easy to score these days, especially on a team of nobodies. He can't carry a team. Barrett and Randle for Jaylen Brown (a real star).

Sorry, indeed RJ still has much to learn before he can carry some team to a 14-68 record.
