He definitely looks thinner. He stays healthy all playoffs, we go to the finals. We need him healthy for sure.

I think it’ll be 20 and out. Surely.
I think so too. He's said it several times that it was real important to his late father for him to play (or be in the league) for 20 years.
His Father passed away on August 30th. There goes the date of significance for him to sign.

Pat got the hint soon as the season ended. It's why he gave that triggered cut bait and run speech when the season ended.
The only way we could've moved on was to relinquish our bird rights to LBJ and use his capsace elsewhere. But that way too risky and would've killed any potential sign and trade possibilities. He did us very dirty for no good reason. I was more shocked that he would put his best friend DWade in that position, after DWade gave up his team and sacrificed his legacy for him.
That was the year Pat with a straight face said Danny Granger and I forgot the other reject player, McWubrt. I would have watched a World Cup game also than hear a Danny granger sales pitch.
No, the pitch was Gasol. He was going to sign for the MLE.
Gasol, Bosh, James, Wade, Chalmers
That would have been our roster, but LeBron shat in Miami

In a study in Liechtenstein, limited breathing, through just 1 nostril substantially affects lateral quickness, balance & coordination overtime w/ worsening long term effects unless addressed w/ surgery.

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

The question is can he do it 1 more time? With us, yea I think He can.
I agree. Unless a clear deal is available that puts us in a much better position, I am perfectly ok keeping Lowry. If he stays healthy, we are still a very good team.

We are a good team but with a major flaw at the 4 spot that will hold us back if not corrected before the start of the season.

I'm actually fine with him still being on the team if 20th year is his goal. Man worked for everything he got, if that's important, go for it. I also don't think there is a ridiculous amount of value in the 15th spot. I think what he brings as a veteran who holds people accountable and is kind of the guard for what "Heat Culture" brings, is more valuable than what that 15th spot can bring.
1 more season...go for it. Anything more, I would tell him not to destroy his legacy. Retire with respect and stay involved with the organization.

I agree completely. People may think I'm nuts, but I think that only gets solved 1 of 2 ways...it'll still be a weakness, but it may not be.
4 - Bam
5 - Yurt
This option will kind of be like a poor mans Meyer's Leonard. Bam was effective that year with a stretch 5. Yurt can can also help with the rebounding and it'll give us 2 7 footers at the 4 and 5.
Cons- Of course Yurt is still raw and has terrible foot speed. However, he does have height, so he can still be effective at protecting the rims with blocks.
or
4 - Jovic
5 - Bam
This option gives us height again at the 4 and a 5. Both the 4 and 5 would be able to be utilized as playmakers. Jovic, much like Turt is raw, but he is a decent shooter who can stretch, but he can also drive and finish.
Cons- Same as Yurt, minutes the rim protection, but he does bring more playmaking than Yurt.
Neither option sounds ideal from the outside looking in, but I'm actually very optimistic that both of those can work.

Jovic is not ready but has all the tools to be an ideal fit next to Bam. We need a reliable stop gap who can bring him along. Bojan Bogdonovic would be ideal.

Not that I don't agree, but I think we all would have said that Yurt also wasn't ready when Bam went out. He stepped in quite nicely. Again, not saying that he is ready or saying there won't be growing pains, but it might be successful enough to not be such a glaring weakness. Bogdonavich would be a good option, though.

Yurt came in with an NBA build and played 4 years of college ball. Jovic has to build his body up and get his reps in with the Skyforce. Darius Days on the other hand could surprise.

Bojan Bogdanovic would be an awesome fit here. Doesn’t help the rebounding or defense, but does provide a legit floor spacer and offensive weapon. He’s good.

I understand that, and my problem isn't with his performance. It's him saying that the problem that was distracting him last season is still an ongoing problem. I'm sure it's more important than basketball, and I'm sure he deserves all the empathy in the world, but we have a closing championship window that we need to tend to. Going into the season with a guy that is not only in decline, but is also telling you that he may not be available when you need him, is not a winning plan.

I think Duncan knows that Spo is dying to play him at PF and that's why he's refused to grow a muscle.

I feel you, but Bogdanovic is so much more complete a player than our one trick pony.
Flanked by Bam and Yimmy he should be ok.

But did Lowry fall short for us because he was distracted or bc he pulled his hamstring?
Dude was shooting 50% from the field and 40% from 3 in the last 2 months leading up to the playoffs. He pretty clearly was gearing up for the playoffs in my eyes.

I feel like Kyle Lowry deserves another chance. A slimmed-down booty and being motivated this year may help us.
This guy makes life easier for Bam and Butler. Being a mentor to Gabe also benefited the Heat, And oh the Lowry to Yurt lobs baby.
We can't afford to lose another locker room leader.
