Many (most?) companies consider even a consensual relationship between manager-ssubordinate to be a form of sexual harassment because of the power dynamic. It is usually against company policy and must be declared immediately with efforts made to eliminate that power dynamic (by one of them resigning or moving to a different division of the company, for example).
I think a lot of people in this thread simply haven't had jobs before, or at least not ones with any sort of corporate structure. This has been explained so many times and some posters still aren't getting it.
