The Bucks had two moments where they did a poor job with in bounds passes. The Butler shot to go to OT and a Zeller dunk in OT.

In such as tight game you can't have mistakes like that. I was surprised too.

Sometimes you watch the playoffs and get rewarded with your team winning.

Sometimes you watch the playoffs and get rewarded by seeing Grayson f***ing Allen make a truly boneheaded play as time expires.

That was comforting.

And now we a classic series with Heat-Knicks that I will always remember as the “#FireGarPax Series”. Jimmy v Thibs. Will be one to remember.

Heat vs Knicks? What is this, the late 90s?

Honestly think Bulls probably lose in 6 even if MIL was missing Giannis

Maybe. Bucks in general just were off. I think they win for sure but it might have been a lot closer than we all previously thought

I know this board is dead/dying along with the slumlord owners of this once relevant franchise, but I just don't know where else to go.

Curry vs Lebron in the next round is gonna be fun. And yes, Jimmy G is very obviously the one who got away. And it's 100% thanks to our brutal ownership and the management they've empowered over these many years of irrelevancy.

Butler averaged 37.6 pts in this series.

One of Butler or Thibs is making the ECF.

GarPax chose Fred Hoiberg over both.

Congrats to Jimmy and Miami,Bucks were considered favorites to win the championship. This was a huge upset!

This is for the ones that always say that it’s not worth making the playoffs as a lower seed. Well look at Miami #8 beating the #1 seed. They proved you all wrong.

This could have been the Bulls as we know they were very close to beating Miami in the play in. I’m rooting for Miami now in these playoffs especially since they are playing the Knicks next.

The Pat Riley coaching tree; Thibs vs. Spoelstra. The atmosphere for that series will be BANANAS! Knicks have a legit shot at the Eastern Conference Finals, the Garden will be ROCKING!
Jerry Reinsdorf; the undisputed king of allowing his GM's to run amok with unchecked power and ego. :king:

Jimmy really beat Milwaukee's A team with Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, Caleb Martin, and Cody Zeller.

So, if you were Milwaukee and Cleveland, what kind of blow it up plan are you gonna have to do after being bounced in the first round in 5?

F the Bucks. They always act tough against the Bulls. Portis, Allen, Giannis. Screw them. Great season thrown to the garbage with a first round exit.

While stupid in hindsight and maybe stupid in real time, at least half this forum were on board with trading Jimmy. Heck I’ll admit I was on team “blow it up”. It was nothing against Jimmy who I would have happily kept, I just thought there were no assets around him that would allow us to build anything resembling a competitive roster for the foreseeable future. Paul Zipser had the 5th most minutes played for the Bulls in that series against the Celtics.

They didn't tank. They won 8 in a row with Nikola Mirotic and beat basically every other tanking team over a 3 year span. I was all for trading Butler but you had to be as bad as possible, you couldn't rely on the luck that never came.

Spoelstra is a great coach. Would probably put him at the top right now. I mean the Heat roster has a lot less talent than the Bucks but managed to take them down in 4 games. Granted, Giannis was hurt but still that is a good accomplishment

Unfortunately I don’t think there is anything we’ll be able to pick off of either team. I’ve been wondering which, if any, of these first round losers will try to blow it up or at least let go of a big piece to go a new direction. Minny? Clips won’t. Bucks probably won’t. Cavs are to young and still on upswing. Same with both Kings and Grizz.

You're absolutely right. And i felt similarly full of despair in that moment as a fan. This franchise is just a loser franchise built on repeat at this point. But the Money'sdorfs or whatever their name is won't reliquish their ownership because it's their wealth engine so long as the UC sells at a reasonable rate along with the TV payouts.

Ultiamately this franchise is pure trash. And it's expected at this point. So for us former/current Bulls fans, all we can do is root for Jimmy G Buckets. And root against Lebronze James. ANd this is the world we have to live in because of our slumloard local ownership.

After the trade so many Bulls fans praised the move and still do. To me it was the worst trade the Bulls ever made. Had the same opinion then until today. That was the reason and first time I wanted Gar/Pax fired.

I think both teams basically just run it back with similar rosters and hope for different results (which is possible).

Neither team is super old although Brook Lopez is a FA and is 35.
