Summer League 2024, Multi-Game Thread – Celtics finish 2-3, in Vegas

I was so excited before this Vegas SL started but man this was meh …. lol, even the one Springer game was like, “coulda been a one-off” lol … just JD had a worse SL than I was hoping, Peterson had a worse SL than I was hoping, Baylor Scheierman at 24 yrs this season had a worse SL than I was expecting, Walsh had a way worse SL than I was expecting … meh … that pretty much sucked

What were you expecting from JD? He managed the team well when he was in there, shot great, and gave good effort on D, no?

He shot it well but he missed a few advanced reads, leaving guys open, and he displayed some bad body language at times. I’m not like abandoning him as a prospect, but I’m a notch lower on him now than I was before SL started.

Watson was good. So was Queta. And Springer (although you dismiss it). Walsh was disappointing, yes. But I don't know what you were expecting out of a no. 30 pick.
