Not only did they play better without him but they also played with more freedom too instead of just standing around setting picks all day for him.

They dont play better without him but its telling they blew out the Grizz @ Memphis and were a Draymond brainfart away from beating Hornets @ Charlotte. Very close to being 2-0 without Steph with Draymond playing. The Suns blowout without Steph, Dray and Oubre were both out too.

Steph makes the team easier to guard this year. They just double/triple him everytime he has the ball and ignore everyone else. Usually the role players cant make shots, tonight they did.

Kerr has to adjust the offense without Klay, but hes refused to do it so far this year.

I dont know how good the Grizz are defensively but the warriors are usually god awful against good defenses, they cant score at all, not even steph. Im not taking much away from this game.

If they are so great without him then why do they always go into the tank when he goes to the bench?

He turned up with no prospect of success and attempted to bring through the young players they did have on the roster and teach them the GSW playing scheme, and similarly Wiggins when he joined the team. Going on the most recent game at least he had some success with these endeavours.

Averaging 30 while getting double and triple teamed the entire game while opposing defenses leave his teammates complete wide open, just to make sure Curry doesent score. He still scores anyways.

Gotta love the willful ignorance of some posters. GSW playing better without Curry gotta be way up there with the dumbest takes i've seen

On elite efficiency too. You cannot omit his percentages to go along with his volume. He is being doubled/tripled teamed and still sniping teams with deadly accuracy.

steph curry's style of play isn't conducive to getting free throws. I think we can all agree to that, right?

you have to ask yourself when going thru his game log why his biggest nights are when he has double digit free throw attempts. these games are manufactured.

I'm not sure what you are trying to say. But if you go through any player who produces 50+ points, they all consistent of double digit free throws. Manufactured in the sense I believe you are alluding to would be guys going to the line 15-20 times a night and hardly ever hitting 40/50 points. James Harden, Trae Young, for example.

Curry literately just dropped 38 the night before on 4 free throws. No other superstar in the league is less dependant on flopping/fishing for fouls.

No, I guess it is not surprising given the nature of this thread, but the obvious question is clearly is that all you have got ?.

Apparently ignorant of the fact. Curry once scored 51 points with 1 free throw.

I'd love to hear you name all the high-volume scorers in NBA history less dependent on free throws than Curry.

Exactly. Crazy thing to say since he averages 30ppg on less than 6 free throws a game. It’s pretty much unheard of.
