“Kids” are gonna be like 29 years old.

Just CGI/de-age them. /greenfont

Fairly sure when this was announced they also said there was going to be a big time jump in it in order to fix that issue. So, basically they won't be playing kids anymore. I guess to be fair, I doubt it would've been as drastic of a problem in this one if not for covid moving it all back more. But it was definitely a noticeable issue in this one, especially for Will. Who I just looked up and he's only 17 now, so was likely 16-17 in filming and playing a 14 year old. It's not thaaaat bad but just got too tall and his voice was so off

Prime Users, Amazon is once again having a 99 cent sale on their channels. Paramount+, Starz, Discovery+, Showtime, etc. The deal runs until the 13th, and lasts for two months.

Finished The Bear and enjoyed it overall. Did have one question through

Spoiler:
The money in the tomato cans? Why did Mikey do that? I guess hiding it from creditors but seems like an over elaborate ruse that doesn't really make sense

Spoiler:
The cans were labeled "KBL", and the payments that Michael made that no one seemed to know about were to "KBL Electric", a shell company. So he did it for tax evasion purposes. I say that as someone who gets all his tax avoidance knowledge via TV and movies, and I clearly don't know ****.

But that's my guess.

Spoiler:
Ahh yeah I don't know why I didn't think of tax evasion especially since him and his sister talked about the IRS. good call

Thor is absolutely awful. Like, shockingly bad.

Not surprised. Ragnarok was dumb as hell too. Never understood turning a character based on Norse mythology into a jockish, frat-boy. I tuned out of the Marvel movies after Endgame (which was fan-service junk) and haven't looked back.

Caan was good in just about everything I can remember seeing him in. Misery, The Program, The Eraser, The Way of the Gun, Las Vegas. An all-time great.

Is this a roundabout way of saying you've never seen "The Godfather?"

Not the 3rd one, but the first two I've got memorized.

I actually like the 3rd as well, but it is in the unenviable position of being compared to the first two. The last hour so is pretty damn good, though.
