I was one of them. Too bad Dwight is a cancer in the locker room and act like a 10yo boy. He was very good last season to be fair.

And please, as good as Horford is, he did not led us....Tristan owned him again and again. Still better than Dwight of course.

Revisionist history.

Horford absolutely, positively led us to the ECF. He was an animal.

Led us TO the ECF. Not past the ECF. Tristan is his kryptonite sadly. Other than that, he's been terrific both postseasons with us.

It was one of the low points on this forum. Very intelligent posters salivating over that diddling piece of ****. Maybe Danny drove them to that point with a succesion of low quality Cs. Perhaps it was a temporary case of mass bedlam. Horrible takes regardless all these years later.

This Hobo Johnson kid is actually fairly famous as an underground... well... whatever you want to call his music. Last couple of lines in the Kings vid are hilarious.

Brett Brown visited Markelle Fultz in Los Angeles on Monday.

Fultz is training with Drew Hanlen as he attempts to regain his shooting stroke.

The Philadelphia 76ers would like Fultz to play in Summer League since he was limited to only 17 games as a rookie. A decision on whether Fultz will play in Summer League has yet to be reached.

Several sources contend Fultz's shooting issues were mental and not physical.

Then why the hell did they mess with his shooting mechanics to begin with? That organization is an absolute dumpster fire that only has Embiid and Simmons because they sucked for such a long period of time. It's going to be fun owning these clowns for the foreseeable future.

Just took a bit longer than expected:

Nov 30, 2011 - The New Jersey Nets are prepared to offer a trade package featuring Brook Lopez and two future first-round picks to acquire Dwight Howard before the Orlando Magic center becomes a free agent in July 2012, according to sources close to the situation.

Nets win.

Nets waited, and instead of firsts they now send seconds, and instead of Lopez they trade out Mozgov-money.

Out of all the trades teams could be making, the only one is sending the Dwightmare to the team that started up all the Dwightmare stuff many decades ago.

Would be bad news for the Brooklyn pick, if there were any Brooklyn picks left to get from them.

Go back further and we had debates on Al Jefferson vs Dwight Howard. Some careers just never take the path one expects.

I thought I remember reading he did it on his own. Showed up to camp that way or something? But, I could be wrong.

The best part is
Markelle Fultz will miss at least the next three games due to shoulder soreness

Sorry, wrong link. The link within that says:
Over the summer, Fultz inexplicably reworked his shooting mechanics -- mechanics that allowed him to shoot 47 percent from the floor and 41 percent on 3-pointers during his only season at Washington -- and so far the results have verged on disastrous

I could absolutely, positively see Dwight signing with Golden State next summer.

I wonder if they both missed their ring chasing windows by costing too much these last couple years. Not sure either has any value for a contender, esp. Melo. Who wants him doing what he did for OKC this year at any price? And there's one more year to age before they can even start. I guess somebody could stash them at the end of the bench, but I doubt anyone signs them with an eye to them being regular contributors. Howard's still tall and fairly mobile, at least.

Howard has some value if he would just keep his mouth shut and accept the fact that he isn't a go-to guy anymore. He just averaged 17 and 13 (rounding up) in Charlotte this past year. He would be a significant upgrade over JaVale McGee for the Warriors and would do a phenomenal job filling that role as rim protector and pick-and-roll finisher. I could definitely see him ending up there next summer.

As for Melo? I'm not sure what value he has in this league anymore. He's not a good enough three-point shooter to be a spot-up guy, and he's not quick enough to get his own shot regularly at this stage of his career. He would do nothing but drag a contender down. And just think: a lot of people on this forum wanted Melo a couple of years ago. What a disaster that would have been.
