I'm not a believer in small sample sizes, but the fans of Philly are not.
I'd put Simmon's chance of returning there less than 50%.
Let's get in on this.

Simmons is unplayable at end of games.
His contract is going to look worse and worse.

You guys still want Simmons?
We should stay far away from him.

Re: The Around The NBA Thread
Did you guys watch Ben Simmons refuse to hit free dunk on the rim and passed the ball to Thybulle in the last minutes of the game? And Thybulle missed one precious free throw LMFAO.
No need to say that Ben Simmons, who get paid maximum salary, can't stay on the court in crunch time again. Again.

Re: The Around The NBA Thread
I know a famous Aussie Bulls twitter guy who really loves Wendell and don't think the Hawks did a good job in the offseason. He even mocked the Hawks and fought with some other guys who thought that the Hawks did a proper rebuilding while the Bulls **** up.
Now THOSE Hawks players will play in the Eastern Conference Finals LMFAO.

Ben Simmons is the type of role player we need if Pat blossoms into a more aggressive scorer. Problem is, he’s not supposed to be a role player and isn’t paid like a role player.

Re: The Around The NBA Thread
In a playoff series, I'm not really sure what makes Ben Simmons any more valuable than Lonzo Ball.

If Simmons was out with injury these playoffs, 76ers are in the ECF.

Simmons as a player is going to be like how you consider Utah. You wont ever take him seriously any longer.
I know people said things about Ben the last 2 years, but this series was complete and utter exposure.

Nothing. Lonzo you a more valuable because he can at least hit a respectable percentage of his open 3s and free throws.

I mean seriously.
I was reading the "How good can Zach LaVine be" thread and people had him grouped with Ben Simmons. I'm sorry. I've never been a fan of him never have I thought he was any good. The guy can't shoot. I don't know how he's been an All-Star ever!
"But he can pass!" He is literally not any good.
I love how some on here overrate players on other teams as being some godly player but underrate our own. LaVine is 20x better than that trash in Philadelphia. Simmons is the true definition of overrated.

I still don't think Trae is THE guy who can lead his team to the championship but his passing is amazing. He creates for others really well so even if he can't hit his own shots he can still carry his team's offense.
Plus the Hawks did a tremendous job in the last offseason. They signed with multiple starting caliber players so even after the loss of few injured players like Hunter and Reddish their roster depth is still great. On the other hand the Bulls even don't have enough cap space to sign with ONE staring caliber player this offseason.
And ever since they have pushed the "rebuilding button" they managed to gather as many future assets as possible which the Bulls failed.

I don’t. Why is he a better acquisition than Lonzo Ball?

I'd take him if his value is shot. He's better and has more potential than almost anyone named as free agent targets.

Lonzo is underwhelming.
Simmons is horrendous.

He has no potential.
He's the same player he was as a rookie. This is who he is.
