Another fantastic option for the MLE

My top choice easily if he’s willing to sign for that. Perfect fit next to Jimmy and Bam in the front court and he’s a 2 way guy

Is it time to get this guy a multiyear minimum contract to develop him for some depth? Miami needs to keep churning out some cheap players.

I think the HEAT acquiring Beal is rather simple at this point. What actually might be holding up pulling the trigger is trying to figure out what the plan is after you make that trade. They will have razor think margins for error with the decisions they make in terms of filling out the roster.

Yes but for some reason people seem to think anything rumored has to be happening vs 99% of legit rumors don't happen. Either you can hear what's being talked about or you have to wait until the last minute to find out what's being done once it's set in concrete behind closed doors which means only finding out right before it's public.

But the simple question is why would he? He is happy as a Buck, he won a ring and they can pay him more than we can.

Now Woods would be a target but he will go to the highest bidder even if it's a dollar more. Also dont be surprised if the Mavs try to sign and trade him for assets or do a two year deal with the second year being a team option, that way they have an expiring contract to trade.

I just read your previous post about Lowry coming back and the Mark's trade meaning Herro and Duncan would be gone. It makes sense. My question is now if we acquire Beal what do YOU envision our lineup being and include a MLE addition. Also would we be able to keep this year's pick to add a shooter or even possibly trade it to acquire a later first and second to add needed depth?

C Bam C Jovic or Lopez C Orlando Robinson
PF Wood or Jovic PF Love PF Highsmith
SF Butler SF Martin SF Cain
SG Beal SG Strus SG two way or draft pick
PG Vincent PG Lowry PG two way

Think there's a route to acquire both Lopez and Wood? Sign me up.

No meant to convey one or the other

Recap of the Five Guys Burgers & Fries interview with Portland's Stooge:

    (1) Lillard has exceedingly low standards and would gleefully be contented with a mere "puncher's chance" to compete for a top-4 seed in the West. Even a minor upgrade would cement Lillard in Portland.

    (2) Of all the players that could conceivably be obtainable in a trade, Lillard is most interested in playing with Mikal Bridges.

    (3) Brooklyn would be demented to turn town #3 for Bridges, but Portland would want more for #3. Portland did not want to trade #7 last year (Sharpe) for O.G. Anunoby. They value #3 much more, obviously.

    (4) Lillard has been working behind the scenes to get free agents to sign with Portland for the MLE. He has several players who would be interested if the Blazers can land an upgrade with #3.

    (5) Zion is an "upside play." It would be a risk because of his injury history, but it would be the offer with the highest upside (assuming no degenerative health issues).

    (6) Portland would not trade #3 for Kawhi Leonard because of his injury history. Paul George might interest them, but that's still likely not enough for #3.

    (7) Portland does not want Towns, LaVine, or Beal. Washington wants #3, but Portland is not at all interested in Beal for #3.

    (8) Siakam for Simons and #23 would interest Portland, but not Toronto.

    (9) In the unlikely event that Lillard requests a trade, Portland will need to receive at least 1 "tangible blue-chip asset" (e.g. Mikal Bridges) plus picks. They will "do Dame a solid" but only "within reason." They are not going to send him to Detroit like Blake Griffin, but would not trade him just to accommodate his request.

    (10) Tyler Herro is not enough. Jokić and five 1st-round picks (assuming Herro is traded to a third team) is not enough. Miami would need to offer Bam, but that would defeat the purpose of the trade.

    (11) Portland does not need to trade Lillard; he's under contract for 4 years. Lillard is not going to become a diva and force his way out. He has built his entire brand around loyalty and being a good guy. He's not going to go full James Harden or Jimmy Butler to force the organization's hand.

    (12) Lillard is far superior to Beal. Miami's assets can land them Beal, but are not nearly enough for Lillard.

Five on the floor’s favorite time of the year. Throwing out subliminals and making people think they know something.

Sounds **** Washington wants this done before thr draft, their looking to makesure they get best available offers now instead of the slew of changes and trades that look to go down on draft day.
