Wow! I can't believe the Kings did that.... Well you can forget about Jrue signing here in the offseason.

A. Root hard for the Pellies the rest of this year to weaken the quality of the pick Sacto gets.

B. Bryan, call Vlade now and find out what he is willing to offer up for Okafor right this instant!

Is there any protection/limitation on the pick swap?

How do they not even get an unprotected pick out of this?

thats honestly mind blowing that the Kings didn't even get an unprotected pick lmao

Cousins must be like the worst locker room cancer in the history of the NBA for this to make any sense

You have to consider how poor a GM Divac is. I feel like this was one of those instances where he could have overvalued Buddy Heild and left objectively better deals on the table. And with his reputation, teams really like to give lowball offers and cross their fingers.

Cousins is a mess, but I wouldn't be surprised if a skilled GM could've done much better.

If BC isn't calling Vlade and offering Jah for a '18 pick swap he is a dope.

I wouldn't rule out anything. Cousins may not make them a winner. And Jrue reportedly wants to be close to the best hospitals in the country for his wife's care.

Not sure if we will even be that interested in him come free agency, but Cousins acquisition doesn't necessarily mean a team will become a winner.

Hinkie will have done more for us in the next 2 years than Colangelo.

I'm more blown away that the Pelicans even had the audacity to ask for a protection on the pick...

To think, I was so upset about this win at the time.

Considering Boogie is only guaranteed at NO for the remainder of this and next season - the haul to Kings is not that bad - the biggest winners on paper appear to be the 76ers,

Kings looks like to be projected at 5th to 6th pick after this deal. Let's hope they enter top 3 territory.

Are you wondering why the C's didn't trade for Boogie?
Rozier was in the supposed package so Danny Boy declined :-D
