Hayward would have a lot more fun group of guys to be around with than Boston.

Having Beno at the meeting would have been the cherry on top tbh

Beno would be the one setting up the water bottles at the table and waiting by the door.

I think our strong player turnout bodes well. Better chance of him possibly clicking with our group. I'm wondering why Boston is keeping it small. I think if they brought Crowder, Tatum, and Brown to the meeting it would be clear to him that the roster construction of their team is crowded at his spot. I think one advantage we could have is we would sell him on the possibility of him taking his game to a 25 ppg plus level with us under Spo with multiple all star appearances and also potential deep runs in the playoffs with a good cast of talent.

Hopefully he's able to attend the Ibaka meeting. Maybe he can offer his friendship like with Boban.

Chalms please respond :reporter:

Pretty much, I think most would admit that the Celtics are better than us right now but on the Heat Hayward would be our number 1 guy. Our two best players currently are Hassan and Goran and neither need a ton of shots to play their best. On the Celtics however he's got IT to worry about plus Crowder, Jaylen Brown, Tatum, and whatever they use their future picks on. Here he'd be our clear number 1 and premier wing for years to come.

Personally I don't think this is some race between Miami and Boston, I think Utah is the clear favorite with us and the Celtics trying to woo him away. Hopefully we have.

Dru Smith very lucky he got that 500k this year. He should invest and manage a subway after all this-MettaWorldPanda

Agreed. I would actually consider it a small win if he ends up staying with the Jazz. We will hopefully keep all our own guys in that scenario on good deals, Boston doesn't get any major move done this summer, and many teams have collapsed to rebuild. It sets up a decent season next year.

Hayward already tried to leave Utah once. I think he's looking for a big market change of scenary. Only worry i have right now is the Stevens/Hayward Butler connection. Hoping Hayward wants to avoid that. Might be more pressure playing for his former college coach in the NBA and in a nasty NBA city like Boston. They will beat that connection into the ground wether in success or failure.

JJ at the meeting. Not even a current Heat player. A damn free agent recruiting for our team!

Sign that man!

That's fake news, that account is clearly reaching for likes/retweets.
As for Gobert, you best be careful and hope this doesn't backfire
