Yeah, Beverly/Jordan/future first for Irving/Frye is another good trade option.

When can Beverly be traded ? He was traded just before JUne 1 -I thought there was a rule that you cannot be combined with other players in a trade? Meaning Beverly one for one with Frye works; so if you could move Kyrie and RJ for Jordan - -two deals but cap wise - they work

I don't know. I'm not aware of any rule where you can't be traded again after being traded, but I'm not a CBA expert.

Why are you guys even entertaining Irving to the Clips ? No way Blake approves that deal...because no way Blake re-signs without a guarantee of DJordan being there. Would the Clips want a disgruntled Griffin demanding a trade? Furthermore, PBev is no slouch defender and really a heck of a ball player. It aint happening guys. Clips get ripped in that one.

There is some serious over valuing of Irving. His talent is upper level but Cleveland has NO leverage.... zero.... them thinking they will get some outrageous haul for Irving is crashing down. Unless a deal is already out there that is waiting on some CBA time clearance, the desperate teams wanting Irving would have already acquired him.

Irving wants out from under the thumb of LeBron. Neither want to commit past their current deals. With LeBron able to walk next yr, who would want to stay in Cleveland period ? And who would give up a farm for Kyrie when he is posturing to be a walker. Cavs either win it all, or James takes his talents...... elsewhere. And really, the Cavs have done very little to make their team better. The James/Paul connection screwed themselves by inking up Thompson and Smith to chunky 3-4 yr deals. Good for them, bad for the Cavs. They essentially have very little to offer to trade outside of Irving, and virtually no cap room for the depleted FA pool. Im betting they have to at least try to patch it up between King J and the Duke of Irving.
What ? Me Worry ?

If the Cavs trade Irving for a big guy, I'd swap Bledsoe for Kevin Love in a second.

Why?

Ulis looks legit. He put up ROY candidate numbers last year as a starter at the end of the season and while no one STOPS Westbrook, he at least kept Westbrook from getting a triple double.

PG's are a dime a dozen. If Ulis looks more like a backup, we can snag another PG via trade.

I think Love is still a superstar, he just needs to be the primary option. And he'd help Bender/Chriss develop.

Fun to think about, the clips traded an unprotected pick to get out of baron Davis' contract. That pick turned into kyrie Irving.

I.Thomas deserves the Max though... his offense is top 5 last year if not higher. But in real world terms and due to his lack of defense and size, I would compromise and maybe offer a 5 year 145 Million contract or so.

If Phoenix went the rebuild route, what kind of offer would you expect for Eric Bledsoe?

He deserves the max but I wouldn't want to be on the hook to pay him that kind of money

A good prospect on a rookie contract and a future first. Obviously there would be filler. I would consider taking back a bad salary depending on the prospect.

I'm surprised at how many suns fans were willing to include TJ in Kryrie deals. The fact is, we are not in a position to be giving away GOOD young players. TJ is good right now, and will be better in the future. We're not sure how good he will be, but I am comfortable with his current production to warrant re-signing him. He is so underrated for us, and I really think we'll be able to lock him up on a good deal. There will be a ton of RFA wing players next offseason, and very few teams capable of overpaying for them.

Chriss just retweeted his own "too blessed to be stressed tweet". Who retweets their own tweet? Bet McD just gave him the new. Bled and Chriss for Kyrie. It's done. (I have no idea if this is true)

The Suns sit down for dinner...

Booker: "Ryan, am I going to be traded?"
Ryan: "No. LOL."

Jackson: "Ryan, what about me? Am I going to be traded?
Ryan: "No. Not a chance."

Chriss: "Ryan, I'm not going to be traded either am I? Y'all love me too right?"
Ryan: ......
Chriss: "Wait...what????
Ryan: "Keep playing like you did in summer league and keep pouting and I might just trade your ass for Kyrie.... bitch!!!!"
Chriss: "Too blessed to be stressed"

I still don't get how people say other teams offers are great and ours is dismissed as a low ball.

Dragic, Winslow, Adebayo or Bledsoe, Warren, Pick.

At worst it's equal and I could argue each of our pieces is better.

The pkg you just presented; absolutely. However, If McD trades both Bledsoe AND Warren, WE better be the team getting back a pick, IMO.

Bledsoe + Chriss should be easily enough, and yes, still better than Miami's pkg above.

We have the best package in terms of what the Cavs are looking for. They wanted a veteran to play along side Lebron, a blue chip prospect, and a draft pick. We check all three boxes. I seriously don't see why the Cavs wouldn't have accepted the deal if it were Bledsoe, Chriss/Warren, 2018 Miami pick. My guess is they want more and they are seeing if other teams are willing to beat it, or we actually haven't offered that package.
I think if that deal occurred, where we give up Warren (not Chriss), and the Cavs lose Lebron in 2018 offseason, I could see Warren putting up better numbers than Harrison Barnes. Maybe not making 1 3 per game, but I could see him putting up 20 points, 6 boards, 1.5 steals per game on good efficiency. Again the only reasons I'm willing to trade Warren is because of Josh Jackson, and his contract extension. I'd be comfortable paying Warren 15mil a year for 4 years, but then we may not be able to sign top tier free agents because we won't have the cap space to do so.

Looking over the teams that would want Bledsoe, how do you rank the following 2 prospects from those teams?

Jabari Parker
Emmanuel Mudiay

Jabari Parker is way better than Mudiay even with his injury's problems.
