I might sound old-fashioned here, but I miss the days when Pat used to ask the players to travel wearing suits. That would not work today, for sure.

It is almost like, "I want to make a statement."

It is what it is... As long as you deliver results, what you wear doesn't matter...

When has Herro delivered results?!

This guy is just not a Heat guy. He's not smart, he's not tough, he's not all about the team.

He's just not a serious person.

Trading him for a PF should be our number one agenda.

That is precisely my point. "As long as you deliver results..." which I agree with you, he doesn't.

I have suggested previously that we need to move him and get bigger.

We need to move him. He's not a Heat guy like you said. Before it is too late.

Off the top of my head, I can't think of a regular starting PF in the NBA in the last half decade (maybe more) I wouldn't take ahead of Highsmith. The lack of even giving a **** about PF not only hurts Miami's starting lineup but it also weakens the rest of the rotation by players out of position at PF or having to guard up.

Crowder for a half a year and Tucker for a year. Bam’s had to deal with so much instability at that position since he’s been here. Clownish for a franchise that’s had a great history of the PF being a foundational piece to the team. They think everyone is Battier who was actually 6’8 230 and Lebron 6’9 240. That was our small ball PF rotation but really not small at all lol

Somewhat true about Tucker but he was signed as an afterthought, he was basically all that was left on the market. Miami's even wasted a pick on Precious with the hope of him being Bam lite as the backup 5 vs addressing the PF position or signing the best player available (Maxie), there was never a thought he would play alongside Bam. It's crazy how little they care about adding a PF that would be considered a starter by just a few teams in the league. Even if you think Spoelstra wants to go with small ball, the FO can put a quality 4 on the roster which would basically force Spoelstra to move a little away from small ball but instead they just refuse to address that issue.

Now that we have Terry Rozier here we can move on from Herro, two identical players on offense, inefficient and bad at point of attack. You cannot play them both together, so yeah his contract is the biggest so we can get the most for our buck in exchange there.

Herro has had more field goal attempts than points in 11 out of 30 games (37%). For a guy who’s paid nearly as much as Bam to only score I can’t begin to explain how bad that is. He is literally addition by subtraction.

And before everyone says, “well we just beat the Wizards with him and now we just lost the next game without him” yea I know, we played catch up to the wizards (the 2nd worst team in the league) literally all game and just lost a barn burner to the best team in the league in a game where our 3 best players couldn’t by a basket. Honestly that loss last night was a helluva lot more encouraging than whatever the fuxk the wizards game was, that felt like a loss to me lol. Plus the non Herro thing is in situations where we have Duncan, last night we didn’t.

Swap Herro for Jerami Grant and we're immediately significantly better ON BOTH ENDS. Use Brooklyn as the third team.

The longer we wait the more I worry we'll get stuck with Herro just like we were stuck with Duncan for 2 years.

Move Herro ASAP, he's not the guy in any way shape or form - doesn't bring the IQ or toughness or efficiency, easily replaceable.

This the correct response, they made their move. Nothing follows, if this iteration cannot get it done, its getting ripped apart in the upcoming offseason and rightfully so.
