KD misses a wide open layup that he could've dunked but chose not to, slaps his hands together and doesn't even move 5 feet before the Hornets beat everybdy down the foor and get a fast break bucket. That is this entire team. Lazy with no leadership because our stars shrug off all responsibility. Bunch of babies

Orlando Robinson is actually a very talented mobile lanky young center with a lot of skill versatility and potential. He'd honestly be a great pickup as a 3rd string center and honestly could allow us to move Ighodaro to the 4 in some situations off the bench because of his ability to hit the 3, make midrange shots and still block shots too. Or he could play at the 4 next to Ighodaro interchangeably?

He moves really well for a 7 footer, has some smooth offensive moves and can dribble/drive with a decent faceup game and some encouraging ISO creation ability already, he has a solid motor, he's an underrated passer out of the post, he is long, physical and energetic. And he's nearly free after being waived.

( Nikola Vucevic comp)

( More physical Kelly Olynyk comp).

We should waive D.Lee since he hasn't been good at all and we have too many guards, we need a couple big bodies at the end of the bench not a bunch of guards.

Definitely agree!

So Josh Bartlestein worked for the Pistons for 8 years and is the brother of Beal's agent.

Miami - Hardaway, Harris, Suns 2031 1st
Detroit - Beal
Suns - Butler

Butler is not an idiot. He knows this team is a mess. If he was mad about Simmons/KAT/Wiggins being soft...what do you think he will think about this team? The only reason he wants the Suns is that he knows the idiotic owner with deep pockets will give him the contract he wants.

If the Butler era goes ahead its likely we wont have a lottery pick until 2034 onwards

2031 traded (this season)
2032 frozen, moved to 30 (Butler 1st year)
2033 frozen, moved to 30 (Butler 2nd year)

I dont disagree with the general sentiment but theres no way they stay over the 2nd apron long enough for the '33 pick to be penalized lol. Probly not even the '32

Beal is a really good fit for the Pistons. That trade worked in ESPN trade machine. It also gave Detroit +4 wins.

We may all agree its a dead end but Ishbia is willing to nuke a decade of lottery picks which makes rebuilding impossible.

The 2 people in the NBA who value the draft the least are Jones and Ishbia.

Even Ryan McDonough got Booker.

I think they figure if we blow it up in a few years they can get some picks back.

Who is worth anything in 2 years?

Booker at 31 for 2 picks may be it.

Booker for Amen + our picks this off-season or at the trade deadline. Next year will be too late if it isn't already.

In fact I think it's probably best to just do it now.

They might wanna take a look at the top of the standings and the last few NBA champions, which mostly built their teams on draft picks and young players.

Return to Phoenix Suns
