Come on Twolves - max the heck out of Millsap. Give him the Twin Cities, keys to both Minneapolis and St. Paul. Garnett, Teague, Butler, all show up for the meeting :)

save the Suns from a horrible long term mistake

Teague
Butler
Wiggins
Millsap
Towns

lol they improved fairly fast. Through the draft AND trades AND free agency. Hmmm.....

Well you know why they were able to get butler and sign guys.... because they didn't **** spend 30mil plus a year on a guy like milsap 2 years ago!!! They stockpiled young assets and kept flexibility.

Actually a good parallel would be if the wolves would have spent 20 mil on luol deng last offseason.

we're gonna give up assets to sign/trade for Millsap
then we're not gonna be able to match whatever contract Big Sauce gets

all of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again

That is the worst idea yet. Would rather sign Len to his money.

Suns need to help facilitate with this Sign and Trade by being the third team in. Granted, Minney got a draft pick for Rubio - protected

MN - Millsaps
Phoenix: dump Knight - at this point, don't care, maybe Bjelinac (sp) from TWolves) since they have Millsap
Atlanta: get Knight, Miami Pick and asset from TWolves, plus Phoenix or Toronto second rounder

If the Knicks sign Sauce for like 40m/4 years - Millsap or no PM - that might be too much

but yes, we Suns fans are worried about worst case scenarios as have seen a plan in place only to be derailed by panic and stupidity

Changed my mind and don't want Millsap even if we sign and trade for Knight and Chandler. Just wait it out til next off-season. Don't extend Warren, allow him to be a RFA next summer and match him. Try and get Boogie after the Pelicans experiment fails. No way Cousins wants to stay there when they have absolutely no money to improve.
Will be willing to trade Knight and the Miami pick for LMA however, a lot cheaper than Milsap, and we could still unload Dudley and another pick to free up cap space to sign a top tier free agent next summer still.

Dumping a Miami pick to get rid of Knight? :noway:

Paul Millsap helps us win what - maybe 5-6 more games? Absolutely pointless to try and sign the guy. He's not a difference maker like Griffin. All he does is put us in position to draft at the back end of the top 10 next year. Not to mention did is almost 33 years old.

I just am not sure Knight and a #1 get Aldridge - but I would do that. I am on record. I just don't see why the SPurs would want Knight since they have Green

Now I could see Knight/Dudley for Green, Aldridge, throw in a pick to the Spurs

The player collusion, the tanking, the one and done-ers, the massive salaries.....piled onto the ticket prices and vender raping at the arenas....

They have created a monster moving Sport into the Entertainment field. I am not sure if it really appeals to the younger fan, but they sure stand a good chance to lose all the old timers. I know of several once-lifer-suns fans that do not give a rats rear now. I am sure the past years of losing do not help, especially following perhaps the most exciting 5 the organization ever had....... Just a shame the fan-landscape has changed so much to where its hardly worth following.

I'd rather we do absolutely nothing this year.

Let Len and both Sauce walk.

Two years of bad spending in a row will really cripple the ability to make moves by these other teams.

doing nothing is better than doing something stupid (and that would be Millsap for longer than 3 years costing an asset like Warren)

I would prefer to keep Sauce but I think Len will be back as Sauce is going to get more money

Zizic will be a nice player, I was hoping he'd drop to our 2nd round pick last year. Happier with Tyler of course but I liked zyzz

Ok, its time to go big.

ESPN's Ian Begley is reporting that the Bucks are attempting to trade Greg Monroe.
Monroe recently exercised his $17.8 million player option for 2017-18. He came off the bench last season for Milwaukee and saw his playing time reduced as a result. However, his per-possession production was still in line with his career numbers. The Bucks have some depth at center, with starter Thon Maker still on his rookie deal and John Henson and Spencer Hawes under contract. It is unknown what the Bucks are seeking in exchange for Monroe.

Trade Knight back to Milwaukee for Monroe. Bad contract for bad contract, but both players at a usable position for a team need.

Knight had his best year(s) as a Buck, and even though Monroe makes close to $18M, he is also an expiring.
