Kai Jones would be of interest, but, seems unlikely Charlotte could clear enough salary space to make a S&T work.

Yup. With that many years left. Its already being talked about that the NBA "transfer portal" where players sign their deals and ask out the year after. If anything its just the beginning of it.

Also Simmons did it too. Faked an injury and forced his way out.

Simmons is a prime example of it not being a thing. The 76ers told Simmons to kick rocks until they could ship him for a package they liked.

But he forced his way out to a destination he wanted. Doesn't matter what Philly got. He got what he wanted. He wanted NY or LA to become a celebrity and it didn't work out.

Only takes one and Charlotte loves spending on threads instead of needles

Brown/Brogdon and a LOAD of Picks for Dame...Portland can flip Brogdon to the Clips. Gotta keep Dame away from Miami. I hope Brad is on the phone right now.

Morey got exactly what he wanted though. He even tried to trade Simmons for Harden before Harden went to the Nets.

Would almost certainly need to be a three-way deal.

And yes - they're in the mix, if a dark horse.

Why are we even entertaining the Celtics making an offer? He is 1000% not on board coming here. S&T Grant for something and get someone on a short deal that can play defense and just hope for a massive Miami regression. Thats all the Celtics can do now.

Correct. Everyone got what they wanted. But doesnt change the fact that the first domino that fell was an entitled star asking out after signing a big deal. This is a thing in the NBA. The CBA is going to just make it worse.

KG wasn't 1000% on board coming here.

Simmons didn't ask to be traded to NY or LA. This is just revisionist history on your part. The only reason he landed in BKN is the Nets needed to dump Harden and that was the guy Philly wanted

No no...Rich Paul came out and said he wanted LA. When LA didn't happen he asked for NY. No revisionist history here. He even used the anxiety excuse to say he needed to be in LA.

There’s no reason you have to include Brown to get Dame. You can beat Miami’s offer without him. Brogdon, Rob, filler, and like 5 firsts. Brad doesn’t care about FRPs and Rob helps Portland more than Herro.

Dame-White-JB-JT-KP is ridiculous.

Maybe because Dame is a way better player than Brown and his 45Mil sounds a lot better than paying Brown 60mil....C's need some flexibility.

Sure. I believe KG wanted Phoenix and LA. He also started gaining more interest when the Celtics traded for Ray. However, unless Dame is a big Porzingis fan I don't see how that moves the needle for him. I don't think there's a snowballs chance in hell of selling him on Boston. Weather sucks, nightlife sucks, taxes are high and he can be in paradise in comparison 12 months out of the year and be on a team that just beat Boston. Whats the selling point?
