I'm happy that that comment came from a guy insisted on posting false basketball information over the past week, even when every relevant site on the internet debunked it clearly. That makes your most recent spewings easier to shrug off.

lol ya i misread a guys contract once and posted it from memory incorrectly a second time. What an atrocity. Meanwhile you are calling half the country nazis

Hey let’s cut it out with the political talk. It won’t lead to good discussion here.

Seriously? I don't think it sounds very fair to fire someone over whatever his political leanings are. I actually really like him on TNT.

In all of this absurdity, I must ask: you genuinely like the guy's broadcast work?

Because he's awful. He defines milquetoast, paint by numbers vanilla commentary. Dude is like the cold oatmeal of the commentary world. At least you can insult and laugh at terrible people like Reggie Miller.

TNT should just put Brent Barry on every broadcast and call it a day.

You're a Brent Barry fan? I love that guy. Makes no sense that he's a Barry given his brother and father, lol.

Barry is flat out awesome. Easily the best color commentator in basketball, in my opinion.

Yeah. McHale is pleasant and surprisingly uninformative.

Yeah, he's incredibly humorous, very well informed and tells some fun stories occasionally.occasionally. I'd love to see him cast more games.

Enough already. I'm not a mod but I don't give a ****.

Seen quite enough about politics and religion pop up in Celtics threads for no good reason. Totally unnecessary.

When compared to most other current options, yep.

What do you guys think Lebron is going to do if LA aren't able to form their "super team" this off season? Getting anyone good enough to move the needle in Cleveland doesn't seem likely. He is turning 34 and can't just wait around. It definitely makes me wonder if the Philly option will start to look good.

One more political post in here, I will lock it and suspend the person who does it. I wish I had been on here earlier. Cut the Crap, to quote a lesser known Clash album.

I would say Toronto. Not sure how much value they would be able to get for Lowry and DeRozan, though.

Love Bones. He was even better as a quote as a player - he seems to have buried his humor a little, actually, imo. His & Calabro's interviews back in the Seattle days were gold. If I remember right, he did the guest commentary one of his injured days. But instead of just sitting in for 10 min like most players would, he did the whole game.

"All the arrows point to him bolting," said Ryen Russillo. "But I know for a fact LeBron is trying to figure out if other stars around the league want to come play with him in Cleveland first.

"I know for a fact that LeBron is still trying to find a way to make it happen in Cleveland. I just don't know if anybody wants to go there with him."

lol.

Well then maybe you shouldn't have ran Kyrie out of town or torpedoed your team's cap situation just so your little buddies could get paid.

I don't see many options. Cleveland doesn't have much attractive to offer in a trade.

What do you all think of the Cavs pick Collin Sexton? Does he have any potential?

Took a peak at realCavs just now and most are like "huh". A lot of hype for that Nets pick and they don't seem very pumped anymore to say the least.....

And you know what's funny? I think LeBron knows that. He isn't stupid. He understands they have no assets and that their cap situation is crap. This is probably just a ploy by him so he could say, "Well, I TRIED!" when he ultimately bolts for Los Angeles.

Yeah, I actually said the same this morning on the general board. He has the I want to compete and had no choice narrative to fall back on. I'm just wondering what happens if LA can't get things to go their way this off season.
