I like Troy Brown but thought he was extremely raw and would’ve benefited from staying in college but the talent is there. What’s your NBA comparison?

More athletic, way better defensive (he's a very good defender now), (and eventually) a better shooting Evan Turner.

Mikal is the missing piece to a dynasty there. I’m hoping Cavs take Mikal if we don’t.

:o well damn. Kings continue to do King like things.

I hope this isn't true and it's just posturing. Ugh. I spoke with one of the guys in their front office and kept in touch (emailed last week, actually), and he's really nice. Similar background as me, actually. If they're picking MPJr, I don't think he was involved.

Reminds me of Will Barton. Will couldn’t shoot much coming into the league.

Wow, looks like he's really in serious consideration for #9.

I want nothing in life to be true more than I want the Kings picking Porter at 2 to be true.

Will always seemed out of control, though. Real herky jerky and a better athlete (so different movement patterns) and Brown as the better playmaker. I don't see it that much, to be honest. I'm sorry, haha.

Harsh. If this happens, it reminds me of the Stauskas thing from a few years back.

frank has a translatable elite skill when he came into the league. Knox while there is potential what is really good at?

He runs around screens really well. I'd consider that a skill. Aside from that, it's all hit or miss banking on potential.

yes he does run off screens well and he seems to have a nice floater as well. But he is a suspect defender, doesn't really create for himself or others and has a tendency to disappear in games....lot of work needs to be done for him to be a big time player in the league. Also does he have that it factor that can turn potential in talent...
4-Peat! 22-25 BAF Champion Spurs:

ROSTER

Walker Kessler/Daniel Gafford/Adem Bona
Nikola Jokic/Santi Aldama/Isaiah Stewart
Aaron Nesmith/Josh Hart/Jaime Jaquez
Alex Caruso/Keon Ellis/Justin Champagnie
Steph Curry/Chris Paul/Ryan Rollins

I have my issues with him (transition turnovers), makes odd decisions on pass v drive, and can't shoot well yet...but love the playmaking, I think he'll be able to develop that jumper long term, and the turnovers can be cut down (just looks tentative). I don't see a star, but I think he's got a safe floor as a role player for sure.

They needed a wing that’s why their moving up guaranteed us Mikal. Had they stayed where they were they likely take him.

Gimme a few minutes and I'll upload one of my favorite defensive clips from Brown I've seen so far.

And I don’t see the comparison to Evan Turner. Complete different body type and athletic skill set.

Barton has very good handles/passing ability/Vision, not sure how u could call Brown a better playmaker when he hasn’t played an NBA minute yet. Barton ran the point guard position on a nightly basis in Denver.

Seems like people like Knox more. I don’t. I guess that’s the bold part? Also had the question mark in there because I’m not sure how bold it is.

He’s also a turnover machine in transition.

Brown is less the athlete and his scoring potential is not as high imo, plus he played for oregon so most never saw him which i think plays a part. I remember there was a time dude would not even get a highlight on youtube.

I agree Knox makes more noise in here and on most mock drafts, But skill wise TBJ is much better than Knox.

i used to stay up made late to watch oregon games just because there was no footage of him on youtube remember
