Yikes.

Expected, he would earn 10M next year, so it doesn't make any sense even if you plan to bring him back.

PG: 18/30
SG: 18/30
SF: 21/30
PF: 20/30
C: 23/30

And and old and near retirement Vucevic, according to some people, played all of the 82 games last season.

The couple of GMs after Hinkie ruined it. It all started when when they traded a hometown kid whose mom worked for the organization, Mikal Bridges. Then they traded for Tobias, the most overrated player in possibly history.

Yeah. Bridges was a disaster…I wonder how she looks at them at the water cooler, the morning after he goes for 30 against them

Tobias was actually really good for them, threatening 50/40/90 shooting, but that INSANE contract :noway:

Tobias has always given up as many or more points than he scored. He's just another empty stat guy like Vuc.

Tobias is basically overpayed Aaron Gordon. Guy who tags along stars and does his job. He never gets blame for Ls, never gets too much praises for Ws. Definition of situational role player-starter.

During 2021 playoffs guy was legit great player. Most hilarious part about him is fact that he is crazy efficient and solid on offense in playoffs. Over last 3 years he averaged 18 ppg, 8 rpg , 3 apg on 50% FG, 37,4% for 3

But than you see his contract ( not because anybody should care about his money, rather fact league has salary cap ) and you go:

Man this harden **** is crazy reading the athletic article. It really highlights that you can’t just get a star you have to get the right star.
Fine print disclaimer for Fultz:
I am high on Markelle Fultz. Yes I understand he is not perfect and needs to shoot more and better and turn the ball over less. I would really like to see him play one more year… and I did and he sucks time to move on.

It will be curious to see if Harden brings back any relevant rotation players and how many firsts. sounds like two or less...

The value of guys on big contracts is dropping like flies
Beal - nothing
John Collins - less than nothing
KP - Marcus Smart...ok thats about even and KP makes $
Jordan Poole - Warriors had to pay to get rid of him.

Harden can't be resigned. Whoever gets him should know it's one year rental as he turns UFA next year

So yea... nobody will break bank for rental that can't be nothing but rental

I imagine PHI will at least hang on for Terrance Mann and I really really hope that he's better than Harden for the remainder of Harden's career. This guy is neck and neck with Kyrie for most willful destruction of his benevolent employers...gone too far.

It’s not just a rental it’s an expiring which has value again. Most contenders don’t have the cap space to sign a FA outright.

Yowza that Haliburton deal

This trade wasn't some conspiracy - it was just a GM wanting AD bad enough where in most people's eyes he overpaid by a long shot to get him.

Yeah…I’ve been saying “make a move now for Mr. Third Guy before they get paid”…but maybe the reality is that (financially) two is the limit and the rest fill in around them (and we have our two lined up)

I was telling you guys he is only untradable player on Memphis.
Guy will put up nice stats and get crazy money. Pretty much mirror to Franz's future contract

As for money, no words. League will now create billionaires

I'm no socialist and also no fan of greedy owners who won't compete...but this is getting nuts. Problem is not simple fact of how much (for example) Jaylen Brown makes (none of my business or concern), but the effect it has on team building around him.

If one of these multi-decamillionaires gave up some money, they'd be able to build a team. How does Kyrie and Harden sleep at night, being "offended" with their team's offers after the wreckage they've left in their wakes? :banghead:
