Damn 2-0 Mata. Leverkusen did a pretty good job. I didn't think they had a chance of winning at Stamford Bridge anyway.

Torres with two assists. Not the best position to take the shot, but very unselfish to pass off to Mata with all that pressure on him for a goal.

One touch volley from the edge of the box into the top corner, sounds about right.

Good games today. Glad to see Milan and Dortmund with the late goals. Was really impressed with James Rodriguez. Kid will be a superstar

^^ Sure was. Cruel end to a gritty performance by Arsenal. Showed the determination and ability to hunker down and play defense that they've been lacking. Nothing really they could have done about the goal, except maybe a better clearance pre-goal, but that was a stunner.

Good performance by the defense. Especially Song, and Koscielny, but they were all strong. Weak points were certainly the wings (Walcott, and Gervinho) and Benayoun. Walcott and Gervinho kept trying and failing to beat men, running into dead ends, and generally being extremely wasteful in possession. Benayouns work rate was great, but he looked rusty. MOTM either Song or Kos for me.

From what I read on some German soccer sites Dortmund's fans are pretty disappointed with the draw.

I haven't seen the game but they feel like Dortmund could've played a lot better and Arsenal looked rusty as hell.

Btw. Dortmund's death will be their conversion ratio, IMO. They have enough chances but don't convert like a high quality team.
What was Kagawa thinking btw. he could've taken control of that one ball where he was alone in front of Szczesny and just easily score but what does he do? Try to score it directly? Lol.

Yeah, Dortmund should've scored a few goals in this game and Arsenal left two goals on the pitch themselves. A sloppy game around the goal but there was some really fun build up play to create all of those wasted chances. Dortmund really need to get better at putting their chances away as the year progresses because they left 2 point on the pitch. Can't help but wonder how differently this game would've gone if they had Barrios in there.

Looking forward to seeing how well City will play and if Napoli can even keep it close in England

Olympiakos showed the rust. That's what happens when you don't play a meaningful game for 149 days.

Still, Marseilles had no right getting 3 points. We still dominated and still should have finished a draw.

I'm excited for the Villareal - Munich game.

Villareal is a pretty good team at home but Munich should be able to at least escape with a draw.
They always score. It's just a matter of if their new formed defense (who has been looking fine against weaker opponents - today will be their 1st real test) can contain Rossi and Nilmar.

I expect a hard fought game with Munich winning by one.
