Looking to trade Nash for a young SG and PG.
Hill on Nash going to the Lakers: “That’s like transferring from Duke and going to Carolina.”

The Pacers are willing to put together a package to get a big upgrade at point guard, center, shooting guard or power forward. Willing to offer some combination of Darren Collison, Paul George, Tyler Hansborough, Roy Hibbert, JJ Hickson and Brandon Rush. Maybe even our pick. But we have absolutely zero interest in dinosaurs like Kevin Garnett or Steve Nash. We want guys we could potentially hold onto for years.

I'd take Philly, but I can tell you now my interest would be pretty minimal, which may not be what you're looking for. If Panther got the request in first I'd put him in Chicago and just maintain a holding pattern until someone wants Philly. There's usually plenty of people transitioning in and out of these.

Hate to hijack this thread, but I know some of you guys are down for games. There is a Trade Tournament in the T&T forum, and we're in need of judges and alternates if anyone is interested.

Houston has solid reserves and Picks available. Probably NY Knicks and Denvers 1 round picks in 2012 and MN and Maybe HOU 2012 2nd round picks. We would also move Jordan Hill, D J White, chase Budinger to upgrade or consolidate for a higher 1st round pick in 2012 - or other talent. If you are looking for rebuild, turn you higher pick into several mid 1st and low 2nd rounders.

I am beginning to think the same thing. Since we don't know much about next year's draft, maybe we should just not do that and free agency and make it more like the older games where it was one offseason and season? From the activity level I think that would be the best solution, and with three teams open and players who committed to them that are no shows it really is hampering the process. I think I am going to PM Cellar and give him Chicago and then see if people will take a second team. Hopefully that will move things along....

I also know many of you are looking forward to next year's free agency and draft, so another alternative is to cut trading to two weeks, send in playoff rankings, do the draft and then free agency followed by writeups. If anyone else has input that would be great too.

I agree with the above solution. Many teams have based around the 2012 FAs and draft and would rather just having trading cut short

This solution works for me! trading has really slowed down imo. so i feel like we're in a steady state almost, so drafting would help shake things up!

my opinion is to shorten the trading period, you can not eliminate the draft now that the game has started since a few teams are trading for picks and using them to build their team

Agree on this point - maybe a 2 week trading period, rankings, draft, FA, end.

Golden State looking for a solid SF starter, backup PF and C. Could make any or all of the following available in the right deal:

Eric Bledsoe
Klay Thompson
Ekpe Udoh
2012 OKC 1st

Also have plenty of cap space to take on salary.

Hey guys. Looks like I'll be the Bulls for this game. Working on my roster now, but in the meantime if you have anything you want to discuss hit me at mahyde@ilstu.edu in the interim.

Depth Chart
Brandon Knight/Livingston
Rodney Stuckey/Ben Gordon /James Anderson
LRMAM/Richard Jefferson
Jonas Jerebko/Matt Bonner
Greg Monroe /Ben Wallace

Jason Maxiell,Terrico White,Dajuan Summers

Knight, LRMAM,Monroe will probably be kept. James Anderson could be used in a trade.

Stuckey, Jerebko available in S&T for picks/prospect

Very open to moving the rest.

I've also taken up the role of Philly GM, let's see if we can get some trades going. Roster inc FA signigns:

Jrue Holiday / Louis Williams
Evan Turner / Jodie Meeks
Andre Iguodala /
Thadeus Young / Glen Davis / Craig Brackins
Spencer Hawes / Maresse Speights / Joel Przybilla

Direction: Although this team made the playoffs (with Brand), I feel the best direction would be to retool, be that through FA or Trades. Anyone with the exception of Holiday, is VERY available; inc S&T deals for Thaddeus Young. Evan Turner will have a breakout season so don't expect him to be going for pittance.
