Mickael Pietrus is a bonehead. I'm on the Ray Allen wagon, especially if Miller/Jones retire. We need Ray incase Wade is injured, or is on a slump. Ray would be an amazing piece to a team that is trying to repeat.

Not sure if anyone read the wiretap but Riley sure is challenging his players:

Seems like Steve Nash wants to get paid, so forget him.

Here's what I don't get about Steve Nash; He's leaving Phoenix because he wants to compete for a championship, yet he's chasing money and being rumored to have interest in TORONTO?!

With that said, I think he would be a terrible fit in Miami.

lol... just remember dude unexpectedly left the Mavericks for the Suns and didn't even give Cuban a chance to negotiate. He's going to get paid, by the Raptors. 10 million a season.

I was never interested in Nash. He'd only take the ball out wade's and james' hand.

And Toronto, if they get Nash, will be a playoff team. Bank on it. They'll have Nash, Derozan, Bargina, Jonas, and their #8 pick.

Nash wasn't close to the top of my list anyways. You take him if he wants to come, otherwise Chalmers and Cole are good enough. Terry, Allen, Odom, Kaman, Dalembert, Camby, etc all come before him - yes, some of those guys are probably impossible.

If I were a Raptors fan I'd be pissed. He'll sell tickets/get the team attention but for the team it would suck. Best case scenario is he takes them to the playoffs and they lose in round 1. Worst case scenario is their record is just short of the playoffs and they get a high lottery pick.

Welcome to mediocrity (Guess that's better than what they have been in recent years).

Disappointing to hear that from Nash cause I thought he'd be a great addition to this team, but can't hate on him for wanting to get paid. He only has so many years left and if that's what's important to him then go get it while he still can.

Good, now we can all be on the same page on Nash sucking for this team. I thought he wouldn't fit well for this team anyway, I don't get why people wanted him so much when, to be effective, we'd have to play a dramatically different style.

Yeah they're not going to give us Faried for the scraps you got sending back. The salary only works out because he's on a rookie contract.

If we're going to add any wing players I only want Ray Allen. But if he really wants starters minutes then it's obviously not going to happen.

You guys who would be opposed to Steve Nash signing here are crazy. LeBron could still handle the ball for the majority of the time. Nash is one of the greatest shooters of all time. He's also a huge threat if he puts the ball on the floor, unlike Chalmers.

But he won a ring with them.

That is like, immortality franchise-wise. It's free agency, not like he is bitching his way out like Shaq in 2008.

Even 'till today, I still don't totally despise Shaq and can appreciate his contributions to the franchise while he was here. Sure though, I think he is still a bit of a diva/cry baby, and I just SMH at the bridges he burned here. Could have ridden the bench for another ring.

It shows you how much people hate the Heat, it was funny how Lakers(well you could argue some were just kobe homers) were rooting for Boston over Miami when they've been rivals for decades.

I sorta feel that Boston fans would rather Allen/Garnett go to the Lakers than Miami which says something.

One guy on the C's board was cool with Ray coming here, another said he'd rather have Ray go to the Knicks or Lakers than the Heat.

People these days. SMH.

About Ray Allen - Sorry but I just cant get exctied about a 37 year old that comes here after an injury when in this year's playoffs he shoot 30% from 3, 39% from the field, and cant defend either. THIS YEAR.

Im afraid alot of you are thinking about the past and what a great career Ray had but we should look into the future of having him at this age after the worse season he ever had. i dont like it at all.
We already had Miller breaking down on us..this can end up just as bad.
