Where do I start?

Letting future hall of famers DeAndre Liggins and Daniel Orton go for free.

Including our only athlete (2 time dunk champion Jason Richardson) as a throw in to a bigger trade.

Trading for dead weight in Vucevic and Harkless.

Acquiring a potential star in the Dwight trade, and cutting him before the season started. (Eyenga)

Drafting two stiffs in the '12 draft. These guys will be out of the league in 3 years.

Firing Dave Twardzik, the guy who personally scouted superstar Fran Vazquez.

Firing Mark Price, the guy who vastly improved Dwight's free throw shooting.

Trading Duhon, a veteran who provided stability as the back-up 1. He was also really good at dribbling, and powered through the other teams attempts to trap him. Something Meer could never dream of doing.

The dude flat out sucks, has no idea what he's doing, and makes me yearn for the days of Otis Smith.

And don't forget about that crappy 17.8 mil TPE he got through the trade.

I don't miss him. It's a D'Antoni thing. Chris Duhon had that 22 assist night in 2008 under D'Antoni, tricking me and several others into thinking that he was a decent player.

SVG and D'Antoni might be the two most opposite coaches. SVG wanted Clark to focus on his D more than his offense. Hence why he never developed a consistent offensive game. D'Anotni on the other hand, has no idea how to spell the word defense.

Just another reason why I haven't been all that impressed with Henny. He's made some real questionable moves.

People are acting like he's some sort of savant....as if sucking to get a high draft pick is this brilliant idea never thought up before.

What questionable moves?

A lot of Magic fans always wanna talk about players that used to be here. If they have some good nights it's oh why did they give him away he's a future hall of famer yada yada yada..

Grizz trade Gay, 2nd rd pick
Grizz receive Ed Davis, McRoberts, Smith

Raptors trade Ed Davis, Jose Calderon, 2nd rd pick
Raptors receive Rudy Gay

Magic trade McRoberts, Ish Smith
Magic receive Calderon, 2 future 2nds

Not that we give up much in the way of value, but we turn a 3.75 million dollar obligation (1/2 season of McRoberts plus 2.5 seasons of Smith) into a 5 million dollar obligation (half season of Calderon) and two second rounders. We pick up potentially valuable trade piece in Calderon, and clear another roster space heading into the offseason. It's not like Smith was working out anyway.

Clark would have made a nice backup PF/C for the Magic for years. But, Lakers needed incentive to take Duhon.

+1. Honestly I think Clark was just salary fill-in though. Even with his early season success in the D'Antoni system, I don't think he would have been a "special piece" for us this season. He won't keep shooting 65% from the 3PT line, and when all is said and done he's an average bench player and not someone I would play over Nicholson from a development standpoint

John Denton ‏@JohnDenton555
Most likely #Magic SG Arron Afflalo will NOT play tonight vs. #Knicks. He is out with a left calf strain. He also missed Monday's game.

No Afflalo means more Harkless and more possible touches for him, we'll live
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.
