I've got him having made 8 of his last 15 3-point attempts. Maurice has come a long way.

Couldn't have asked him to play any better defense to be honest. He'll earn that respect.

Love his play recently, but he has a ways to go. He needs to go to a ball handling camp maybe go to the guy that Kyrie trains with

Just wait til he starts taking fools off the bounce now that they have to respect his shot. Dunk city.

Harkless on ESPN David Thorpe's radar... from his rookie watch:

Thorpe is the guy who recently mentioned Harris and Nicholson as well. Guess he likes the Magic.

He's been playing extremely well lately. He's improved so much this season alone, and he's been gaining confidence. You guys have to remember that this kid is only 19 years old! NINETEEN!

If I remember correctly, he's from Central Florida, so he probably keep track of teams around here.

A lot of people were high on Lee when he was starting during his rookie year... being left wide open all the time made him look better than he was. Still, he played pretty well for us as a 22nd pick thrown onto a contender. He had his best year here. He's still nothing more than a role player, but he must be doing something right if he's starting on a team that's 10-4 since Rondo went down. Btw, Thorpe called Harris the lead sleeper before he was drafted in 2011 and despite Harris' lack of playing time that season he continued with that thought all the way up to the Redick trade.

Yeah, he has a pro training center in clearwater... trained some notable nba players. His word has to be worth more than most of ESPN's staff...

14/5 on 56% in his last 10 games also with a block/assist/steal per game as well his corner 3 is improving, i swear if he nails down that shot it will expand his game so much
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

The key is going to be that 3 pointer that Harkless is nailing lately. Even Thorpe said a 3 pointer instantly raises his ceiling. I think his ceiling is too early to tell. He's too young and improving too fast.

I think that these players are having great stats on a losing team that is getting crushed by 20 points every other game.

Thus, stats to me are meaningless unless that player is integral to making the game at least close or a victory. Because, Brian Cook or Duhon can have all-star PER 48's on a horrible team.

Otherwise, the players are just there and just not even good enough to be on a .500 ballclub.

That is how frustrated I am with this team. I can't hype on the young guys too much because they are still getting worked by their opponents. I like them, but I don't see future All-Stars because they are getting crushed.

Sorry for the BMP rant.

Man, you definitely need a girl
We all knew this was going to be a transition season. We have many young players, Harkless is doing a really decent job with 19 years old on his first season as a pro player. You are almost the only one here who's worried. I really like the direction Henningham is carrying this team. I like this team!

nice article on Hark

It's just about his growth during the season, but i liked this part:
But several minutes after Tuesday night’s game at the Amway Center, Harkless was still steaming over fouling out of the game. In particular, one foul call – one where Nash purposely grabbed Harkless’ arm and pulled him into him to draw a fifth foul – stuck with Orlando’s first-year forward.

``Ahhhh, that’s what it’s like being a rookie in the NBA,’’ Harkless huffed, referring to Nash’s veteran move. ``But I’ll definitely learn from it.’’

Maurice Jose... hopefully will be playing for the Puerto Rican national team soon. He opted for the summer league last year instead of the Olympic games.

He is a beast. We have good building blocks with potential stars.

I read he's not picking up the phone calls from the Puerto Rican federation, so it's unlikely he will play.

I honestly believe that this offseason will make or break him. in the sense that it could possibly send him on his path. Will he improve enough to be a legit starter? or will he be regulated to the bench in favor of Tobias? time will tell and i can't wait to see
