That's a deal that I can shake on because I know Stephenson won't get paid like that, and if he does I'll find vengeance in watching him collapse into a horrid contract on that team

I hope that Lance gets 4/40mil with somebody like New York. After they trade Mello to Houston for Asik,Linn and Parsons,they are going to need to find somebody else to give them a big three core.
Maybe we can get invovled in a 3 or 4 way trade and pickup Felton,Shumpert and Chandler. the value of those three players would be much better for our team than Stephenson

Charlotte Hornets: Michael Jordan is talking big, and the Bobcats have money to spend. Gerald Henderson and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are nice players, but MKG is in the midst of a full-blown shot reconstruction, and Henderson can’t reliably shoot from deep or create off the bounce.

Stephenson would provide some juice for an offense that needs it, as well as ensure that Kemba Walker isn’t overburdened. He just spent four years learning a defensive system that isn’t much different from what Steve Clifford runs. Charlotte got a taste of winning, and they’re hungry for more.

High risk / potential reward move. I'm on record as being against it, but the piece overall made me feel a tiny bit better. My main worries are the spacing issues mentioned & chemistry.

I'm indifferent about signing Lance Stephenson. The fickle is how much to pay him, and I promise that any team that pay over $8 million expecting for him to become a model citizen or a 20-plus points per game scorer will be abysmally disappointed

The Lowe piece just made me remember how young he is. He's a year older than McDermott, and we might spend the #9 pick on McDermott. Stephenson's already a better NBA player and has a higher ceiling. His basement is a borderline All-Star until 2020. If--and this is a big if--his character checks out with our front office, I'll be happy with about as big of a contract as they want to give him.

Im sorry but if any Charlotte fans don't want lance on the team you need to take a long look in the mirror, then when your done take a look at Henderson's stats.
