Seems clear to me Dwight & Daryl or D&D are going to enact Boondock Saints 3 (because 2 was just terribly disappointing) and RAZE Hell while Negan is away in Alexandria messing with Ricky.

Rick had a bunch of chances to ...
Spoiler:
use Lucille against Negan this episode. He should've done it. If he had, Negan's army would be sucking his dick instead

Watching Negan with a red hot poker up his ass will be so satisfying. I haven't read the comic, but I know this must have to happen at some point. Just spitballing here, no spoiler.

Speaking of which, do you folks think JDM is hamming it up just a little bit much on all the antics and posing? I think if he turned it down a notch or two, it would be much more effective.

I think we're getting too much Negan all at once. I know, he's an epic character with an amazing actor handling him and they're establishing how ruthless he is and he's such a threat and so on...but the Daryl episode was more about Dwight, the first episode included the protagonists silently watching Negan expositions for an hour, last night was again almost all protagonists watching Negan speak and even the episode in the Kingdom was more about the Kingdom and Ezekial than it was Carol or Morgan.

We're getting deeper into the season and the protagonists are barely interacting with each other or really reacting to the events that transpired. Michonne is learning to snipe; Dwight is a punk, Rosita is self-destructive and the mayor's son...who cares, it's been inevitable that he'd turn on Rick since day one; we really don't need to re-establish that he's a coward and a punk; it's just a matter of whether he'll try to join Negan (snitch on Rosita's gun?) or try to kill Rick himself.

I think he's supposed to be a natural born prick in the comics. This is what he does. He challenges and dares and berates and belittles everyone. It's what he gets joy out of. I believe in the comics it comes out that he does this because it's the only thing that keeps whatever little humanity he has left in place.

Let's be honest. ANY woman who has seen her man whupped/broken in like a Dog...like Rick in front of her, will NEVER have the same confidence in her man EVER again.

I think Negan has been depicted as well as can be for TV. In the comic book, Negan cusses like a sailor so he has a sadistic panache about him.

Looks like Michonne has picked up Andrea's arc more and more, having picked up/practiced with a sniper rifle.

I don't think I'd ever wait for Negan to show up at Alexandria. He didn't know the exact population of the settlement. You're better off, armed and a vagabond than isolated and a target for his minions.

What do you mean by "vagabond"? You mean leave Alexandria with his own group?

No. I mean, I think I'd bolt as soon as I heard about the Saviors especially after Negan owned Rick.

BTW as for the reveal...couldn't help thinking...

Welp...I guess they had to spend the extra time showing us how broken Rick is. That's something new :-?

Honestly that scene when Rick was in Spencers house looking for the missing guns, when he paused to look out the window where Negan was sitting with Olivia, I was expecting him to be carving Olivia up or something like that. Definitely expected Negan to blow Olivia's brains out at the very least before the loaded up the van with the guns.
