Potential on offense for Patton there but he's not a big enough part not to be fighting harder for boards

I don't see Bridges still being there when we pick. Making the PO will be the different between picking 13-14th and 16-17th. Bridges I struggle to see falling below 12-14, so for him to be in our range we need to miss PO - even then I have him between 8-14, so he could be long gone. This guy has potential to really wow people in work-outs.

Same with Lauri. I have his range as 6-12, but cannot see a way to get him to slide lower.

People might hate the idea of Giles because of the injuries, but if our other faves are gone by the time we pick & we're looking at Giles with the 17th pick ... that's a gamble you can afford to take.

Worse case scenario if we get the 16th pick, Hartenstein and Patton are gone by the time we pick. Justin Jackson, Leaf and Motley are your next best options IMO. Not sure if Zach Collins will declare for this draft but if he does he'd be the 2nd best option to me.

If he stays and gets injured again, that Charlie's going undrafted. His best chance may be to ride the wave and hope someone gambles on him while he's 18 and seemingly healthy (Someone will probably take a chance on him cause he's 18)

His draft workout's going to be do or die in a lot of ways for him

If we make the playoffs, I highly doubt we will find a player ready to be in our rotation right away so expect a player that will spend time developing in Sioux Falls for most of the year.

There's summer league and training camp before the season starts and most rookies, picked in the lottery or not, aren't ready to be in a team's rotation.

There's something here with this kid. He'd be a perfect fit next to Whiteside. Might even be worth our pick if it's midway through the first round. Plus he'd fit right in here in Miami. Big Haitian American community. He'd be right at home. There's a lot of Bosh in this kid. If we somehow landed him in a trade this summer, I'd be a happy camper.
