What do you guys think Holmes value is ? A first? Few seconds ? Late first?

I’d say a high second.

Agreed.

I have a pessimistic view of Holmes. I think he is a great kid, and he has a role in the league, but I think he is not very talented. He can be effective offensively if there is a point guard to feed him basketball, and defensively if he can block some shots, and isn’t called on to be much of a rebounder.

He is an nba player though, and that means that he was a great second round pick.

Henson as a backup C over the next 3 years is a good idea i think! It gives us the option to trade Holmes for an asset and directly replace him with Pasecniks, in case his salary demands are too high.
To make up for the salary increase due to Henson's contract, i altered your trade idea abit:

Jabari (6.5) + Okafor (5) + Bayless (9) to Chi

Felicio (8) + Portis (2) to Mil

Henson (11.5) + Grant (2) to us

You guys are too pessimistic on Holmes. I see a near future Serge Ibaka-lite, possibly even a destitute man’s Draymond. He’s easily worth a late 1st right now IMO, and if he improves as expected the value goes up.

I don’t see any way Milwaukee trades Jabari for Felicio and Portis. Not even if both MIL owners and Jason Kidd were caught in a crack den and GarPax had photographic evidence.

SA has no reliable PG behind T.Parker. TJ may not get minutes with Markelle running the second unit, and Jerryd Bayless being healthy. TJ McConnell and Amir Johnson for LaMarcus Aldridge?

I don't like the 2018 Free Agent Class. And with Korkmaz and Jonah Bolden needing development, I'd rather trade our 2018 draft pick(s) for a young veteran on his rookie deal.

Instead of overpaying Avery Bradley to play a role, I would rather trade for Justise Winslow and Jerian Grant, then give contract extensions to Embiid (max), Covington ($72M), Winslow ($50M), Grant ($42M) and TJ McConnell ($36M).

Holmes & PHI18 for Winslow. Okafor for Grant.

Broken record: Justin Anderson is a much better Solomon Hill than Dante Cunningham. There's a deal with NOP.

Exum looks to be out of the rotation in Utah. Donovan Mitchell and Alec Burks seem to be running the second unit.

If Ben and Dante Exum are buddies from back in Australia, I think we should get him cheap. JJ and Stauskas will be leaving soon. Exum's shooting stroke looked better this summer.

TJ, Exum and Korkmaz could be a thing. Plus Dario Saric and Jonah Bolden.

I'm not that TLC dude. I would offer him up in the deal.

I think Atlanta would move Bembry before Prince. DeAndre has had trouble breaking into their rotation.

Exum is cursed.

He'll be out for the year and likely could be had via FA if u want. Think this is his last year. He aint getting more then a 1 yr prove it deal as a backup anyways.

Bembrey for Justin Anderson.

Okafor's effort is noticeably better.

If Adams back is more serious, a scoring center with more effort becomes more valuable. OKC, Cavs, and others could use Okafor.

Okafor for the nets pick and Frye.

I think I might prefer to keep Anderson. Bembry is the better ball handler and scorer but Justin is the better defender and has the more impact on the court (even dating back to their college careers).

Neither player should probably be anything more than an out of rotation reserve, anyway.

I'm still not a fan of Ingram. Skilled, for sure, but still too weak and not that athletic. I don't see the upside others do in him.
