We will know in about 3 years. Bulls took high IQ guys, actually healthy with no medical problems or questionable work ethic. Both good college contributors, possible two way players right from start, who can fit and play certain role. Basically perfect draft record. There is no much flaws behind prospects beside possible highest ceiling gamble. Which is why they are considered "safe". At the end even by mocks both this guys were BPA's at #7 and #22.

Only better option for Bulls from what they got at draft night is they decided to trade up for higher ceiling player. Which is another pair of sleeves. Another thing we will know in about 3 years. If for instance Bamba becomes superstar that's on Bulls because they ultimately decided is not worth shedding assets to move up.

^ If you look at the first page of the board, you will see how much I liked Carter. I called him the 2nd best prospect in the draft (but later changed it to #3). I watched a few of Wendell's high school games, I called him the next DeMarcus Cousins or poor man's version. He looked as good as Favors or Dwight when they were in high school. It wouldn't surprise me if he is an all star for Chicago 3-4 years down the line.

I watched him all year at Duke, and didn't realize he could guard the perimeter. He must have put in work after the college season ended and maybe lost some weight. If homie can actually guard the perimeter like he did last game, the dude is already a defacto top 5 PF/C in the league.

Why stop at top 5 PF/C in the league? He might be the best center of all time by December.

He's so good. Liked him better than Bagley, and was one of the most underrated guys in the draft.

He lost about 10-12 lbs and said he was focusing a ton on lateral quickness so he can guard the perimeter. So far so good!
