First time I've seen Suns this year when I turned for this 4th quarter....WOS :o :o :o what an absolute embarrassment of a basketball team. The fact that a 40lb overweight Jared Dudley who can barely move was out there to close really says it all.

Ulis is 8 of 34 in November.

I think James is playing solid enough.

Just hope Sarver doesn't pressure McDonough to trade for a PG in a panic deal.

Too much blame on our PG's imo. The only reason they take shots or isn't passing to ours stars is because the stars aren't demanding the ball, getting themselves involved in the play or making themselves available. Our PG's are who they are, young, inexperienced and limited. That's why you want your stars to be creating plays. Blaming our PG's would be like blaming Patrick Beverley when Harden isn't producing.

More so than our PG play, I'm more disappointed with Booker's lack of interest.

We all knew this team would be bad, looks like they were exhausted and reverted back to ISO Watson ball with Booker and everyone else trying to do it all on their own and not playing team basketball whatsoever no ball movement tonight and these guys have to stop running to the 3 point line every time and occasionally cut the the basket. We have 2 players that cut to the basket Dudley and Warren thats it. We also only have 2 players on this team with a high BBIQ and thats Dudley and I lean towards Big Sauce outside of that its low to lower. Bender finds some from time to time but he is too passive on offense to be effective.

Guys, our point guards are horrid. I doubt Booker wants to play an entire year like this. A PG NEEDS to come back in a trade.

Mudiay has worse scoring and passing metrics this season than James and he's the most discussed option.

O-Rating:
James 103
Mudiay 102

Assists per 36:
James 6
Mudiay 5

Does trading for Dinwiddie help anything when Booker is peaking?

Mudiay also isn't a midget. Our guards are getting abused every night.

It's just more of the same. And we don't have any stars. Booker cannot be the playmaker. He's good at it on occasion, but he turns it over too much.

We need someone who knows how to read the entire floor with a smart bbiq. I don't know who that could be. I mean heck, Darren Collison is getting the entire Pacers offense going with like double digit assist nights.

I can't even remember the last time we had a player get double digit assists.

He's also six years younger. I'm not a Mudiay fan but I'd take him. His shooting is trending the right way and he is shooting better from 3 this year...his ast/to ratio has gotten worse every year though.

At this point I'd take something like Augustin, Hezonja and their pick, which Lowe mentioned...
Orlando makes some sense as a dark-horse Eric Bledsoe destination, but finding matching salary isn't easy. Would Augustin, Mario Hezonja and a protected first-round pick do it?

Hezonja has sucked, but even though Augustin is older, at least has a 5-1 ast to turnover ratio, shoots 52% from 2 and 39% from 3. At least he'd play smart. He's got Orlando's offense going well. They'd probably be hesitant to mess with it though, as Lowe also mentioned.

And then there is the looming return of Elfrid Payton. Orlando almost has to bring him off the bench now, pending Augustin's health. In theory, his bricky jumper would inflict less damage now that there is more shooting around him. But a group that has never experienced any winning cannot mess with this kind of magic. Payton isn't a bad player; he does some things quite well. He's just a peculiar piece who requires a specific habitat different from the one Orlando has discovered in his absence.

Heck, they might want to deal Payton..he sometimes fills up the stat sheet. The bad thing is, he's another bad shooter.

I just wish McD would quit going with score first point guards. Ulis is supposedly pass first but it didn't look that way tonight.

This is different. In year's past, our PG's were our 'star'. Thomas, Bledsoe, Dragic, Knight (...), we didn't have subpar PG's until now. Booker needs to touch the ball on most posessions even if he's not finishing with it but he can't just stand around. Triano said he needs to work on getting Booker open and that's a good start.

When I'm talking about *our* stars, I'm referring to Booker and TJ. Not arguing against an upgrade at PG but if this is the team for the short term, then we need to make changes to the way we play.
