The Blazers came out after halftime with no energy, no hearts, like Mark Jackson said they look like a boxer who just wanted their trainer to throw in the towel. Embarrassing really. Lillard was just walking the ball up the floor waiting for himself to get trapped... and then when they did trap him he made bad play after bad play after bad play. McCollum couldn't make a free-throw if his life depended on it.

Remember this was the team which got swept by the Pelicans last year. I think they have improved this year but they also faced a very inexperienced Denver team. And, if Paul George was healthy, I think OKC would have been a tougher opponent.
I agree. Denver didn't have the hero ball and experience to beat Portland but they were definitely the smarter team to challenge the Warriors better.
Not sure about OKC though. Their health definitely played a role in their failures but they play limited and dumb like Portland. I'll say they would have probably won their first home game against the Warriors after being down 0-2 though.

Why because he missed one shot? The guy's been a force in the series anybody who knows basketball can see that. But yeah that cash feels really good to us Bulls fans doesn't it? What have you guys bought with your share?
You sorely missed out on the rest of our discussion after this, my friend!
I get it and I probably overreacted. But even if Jordan Bell sucks and he doesn't he's been extremely valuable to that team... but even if he sucked it wouldn't matter.. it's the principle. You just don't do that when you're trying to rebuild. The player picked was irrelevant even though he actually is relevant.

Yep, and that's exactly where our convo went. Its an everlasting embarrassment for a penance of payment.

Game 4 may be a blow out.
With the finals not until May 30th I sure hope Toronto can make things interesting vs the Bucks.

Looks like the 2nd round was the only competitive round. Portland's lack of energy in the 2nd half was embarrassing but they also got points in the 1st half from Meyers Leonard. That is unlikely to ever happen again and Leonard promptly messed up the interior defense in the 2nd half when Green was a superman.
The only thing which will stop GS even against Milwaukee or Toronto is injuries. Otherwise, they will win in 6 against Milwaukee.

Not sure if the Nuggest series took its toll on Dame, but he's been awful. He wasn't good in that game 7 either.

He was bad in the last game against Denver. I think he was trying to do the Harden trick too much at the 3 pt line and he lost his rhythm.

People are under rating the Bucks.

Bucks/Warriors would be a tough series to call.
Milwaukee has been great all season, Giannis is that dude and the supporting cast has been consistently outstanding.....
That said, experience matters more often than not and the Warriors will absolutely play at a level in the finals that the Bucks have yet to experience themselves.
That’s a series I’d absolutely refuse to put money on as I could see it going anywhere from a Warriors sweep to the Bucks winning in 6-7. If they match-up in the finals, and that looks likely right now, it’ll be interesting to see the Warriors game plan vs Giannis and whether or not the Bucks can use their athleticism and length to make things difficult for Steph and Klay (and Durant if he’s back).
I’ll definitely be rooting for the Bucks and would love to see Niko catch fire for the series.

If Warriors don't have a healthy KD, I have the Bucks winning in 7.
I predicted the Warriors might be banged up by the finals for an upset to be possible simply because they have all been on such long playoff runs. Now they will likely not even have KD.

If Warriors dont get KD back, Bucks will win finals.. even with KD, Bucks are more than capable and good enough to win it.

Hoping Markkanen is watching the POR-GS series.
He could learn something about being more aggressive, especially on defense.
Llke Collins, yeah, they're losing, and he's had some bad games, but I'd still like to see Lauri with some Zach Collins defense aggressiveness, and no, not the 4 fouls in 7 minute game he had, I'll defuse that one right now. But an overall willingness to defend and go after shots.
Last I checked, Lauri's at least 6'11", possibly 7 feet. That's the part of his game I hope he is working on, being aggressive out there for all of his minutes and looking to impact the game on both ends. We know he can shoot.

He just was bad in the end of the Denver series and in games one and two of this one. Everybody is banged up right now. Sucks but doesn't explain his collapse which came long before this injury.

Difference is McCollum collapsed the last few games too and nobody else has stepped up... other than Meyers Leonard in that 1st half, but that was an anomaly.

Lillard separated his ribs in game 2 of this series not last
