D'Angelo Russell going for a triple Double in the 4th. Just needs 3 more assists and one more turnover.

Trade Culver Teague and all our future capspace and picks for him. I don't want him on this team for that contract, but I don't want to watch 70 more games of "who's going to learn how to hit an open 3" either.

He left the game with a thumb injury so he couldn't complete the triple double.

And I should care? He's still got one thumb right? I'll settle for a double double. That's still twice what we are likely to get from Culver starting for the next 3 years.

Do you think we can afford $90 mil on 3 players for the next 3-4 years?
And Wiggins can't go anywhere now. Would look really bad if we trade him now.

Marvin Williams is a ridiculously steady stretch 4 for the Hornets. Wish there was a way we could acquire him.

If Wiggins keeps playing like he has this year no one will want to trade him and we shouldn't. However, he will easily be tradeable at that point if an absolute need arrises and he would be returning value if it happened. People have noticed his change in play. Hopefully it continues.

What's going on with Portland?

That, and their only healthy big PF/C's on the roster are Skal, Tolliver, and Whiteside (with Melo joining them). Losing Collins is massive for them

I really think they could use Dieng instead of Whiteside

Right. Plus Neil Olshey created a roster without addressing the SF position.

Whiteside expires this year though.

Portland been horrible but they are easily capable of rattling off 7 game win streaks so I wont count them out yet.

I doubt it...they aren't the same team this year...their front court is a huge weakness and Nurkic or even Collins aren't returning anytime soon. Its tough to overcome those injuries, especially when CJ also hasn't been playing well

Still too early for me to rule them out but the Spurs are looking horrible right now. Just playing like trash.

Portland has also been horrendous to be frank.

They were playoff locks to me before but now, eh its rough. Of course they can go on a 7 game win streak and be back in it but man I'd love to get some more separation between us and them.

Dallas has been really nice. Luka seems to be one of the best player in the NBA right now. He's just leap frogged his stock so high. Can he keep it up? If he does he's will be the next James Harden for the next 10 years.

As bad as they are now, it's hard to count out San Antonio and Portland. As you said, they're capable of running the table and being right back in it.

Luka has been making a case for MVP considerations and it'll be exciting once Zinger plays himself back into a groove (be it mid season or next year).

I also wouldn't sleep on the Kings. They're going under the radar after a bad start and untimely injuries but could surprise people and sneak into the playoffs.

I just realised that every top8 team (except BOS) in East has well paid bigman combo to fight against PHI

MIL: Lopez bros
MIA: Bam, Meyers, Oleynik
BOS: ???, Kanter
TOR: Gasol, Ibaka
IND: Turner, Goga, Sabonis
BRO: Allen, Jordan
ORL: Vuc, Mamba

At the same time top8 West teams have only one starting caliber bigman:
LAL: AD, Howard, McGee
LAC: Zubac, ???
UTA: Gobert, ???
HOU: Capella, ???
DAL: ???, Powell
MIN: KAT, ???

I wonder how much team reshaped roster after GSW fell out. I mean are teams less worried about small ball GSW type lineups?

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
