Just seen Udonis Haslem’s crib off The Players Tribune YouTube and WOW. Dude lives in a mega mansion in Florida. He’s earned $63million in salary. Not the most for a modern NBA player at the end of his career but he is living nice.

The simplest solution to this problem is to remove the team cap, increase contract length, so that players get paid even more to the point where they will have trouble spending them? After all owners are perceived as evil billionaires and they should pass their wealth to players.

A solution to a non-problem? There really isn't a problem here. NBA players universally make enough money to not live paycheck to paycheck. If they are living in such a way it is of their own perogative. There's no need to look for a solution for something that isn't a problem.
